GIGABYTE Pushes OLED Gaming to New Heights with Four New Monitors at CES 2026

GIGABYTE, a global leader in PC hardware, has unveiled four next-generation OLED gaming monitors at CES 2026, reinforcing its position at the forefront of display innovation. Designed to fully unlock the capabilities of OLED technology, the new lineup delivers meticulously tuned picture quality for both HDR and SDR content, paired with GIGABYTE’s signature Tactical Features for fast, precise in-game control. The result is a premium visual experience with exceptional detail, responsiveness, and customisation for gamers and creators alike.

To elevate HDR performance, GIGABYTE introduces refined HDR Picture Modes: HDR Movie, HDR Game, and HDR Vivid; each optimised for specific viewing scenarios. Addressing the common OLED issue of overly dark HDR images caused by APL limitations, GIGABYTE debuts HyperNits, an intelligent tuning technology that reshapes the EOTF curve using a proprietary algorithm. HyperNits can increase brightness by up to 30% while preserving highlight detail, with selectable modes including HyperNits High for maximum impact and HyperNits Medium for a more subtle 20% boost in darker environments.

For SDR content, GIGABYTE’s new AI Picture Mode enhances everyday viewing through real-time, activity-aware optimisation. Trained on a large dataset, the system automatically applies the most suitable display settings, reducing brightness and blue light for comfortable productivity, boosting contrast and adjusting gamma for a cinematic experience, or activating AI Black Equaliser to improve visibility in competitive FPS gameplay. These seamless, dynamic adjustments ensure consistently polished visuals across all use cases.

Performance is further defined by GIGABYTE’s exclusive Tactical Features. Tactical Switch 2.0 allows one-click switching between resolutions and aspect ratios such as 4:3 and 5:4, catering to different game genres and personal preferences. Ultra Clear technology enhances motion clarity and minimises blur, delivering sharper visuals in fast-paced games, action-heavy videos, and dynamic scenes.

The CES 2026 OLED lineup includes the ultra-wide QD-OLED MO34WQC36 and the 4K QD-OLED MO32U24, both equipped with the latest ObsidianShield film and DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. ObsidianShield improves perceived black levels by up to 40%, enhances contrast, and increases surface hardness from 2H to 3H for 2.5× better scratch resistance. The MO34WQC36 also features a new V-stripe sub-pixel structure, delivering up to 64× more precise text clarity. Completing the lineup, the MO27Q28GR uses RealBlack Glossy 4th-generation WOLED technology with UL certification for superior black performance in bright rooms, while the 27-inch QD-OLED MO27Q2A is now available in a striking new white finish, the MO27Q2A ICE.
