Apple redesigned the internal architecture to make each AirPod smaller and better balanced, while introducing five ear tip sizes, including a new XXS option.
This ensures stability during runs, HIIT sessions, or yoga, and comfort for all-day wear. Rated IP57, AirPods Pro 3 are now more durable against sweat, water, and dust.
Heart rate sensing and fitness integration
For the first time, AirPods can now measure heart rate during workouts. A custom photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor works with AirPods Pro’s motion sensors, GPS, and AI on iPhone to provide workout tracking across 50 different exercise types. Data syncs seamlessly with the Fitness app, letting users monitor heart rate, calories, and progress toward activity goals.
AirPods Pro 3 also introduce Workout Buddy, a motivational new feature powered by Apple Intelligence that delivers personalised insights and encouragement during training sessions.
Live Translation in your ears
AirPods Pro 3 bring Live Translation to AirPods for the first time. Powered by Apple Intelligence, this feature helps users engage in real-time conversations across languages.
When enabled, AirPods provide instant audio translations, while the iPhone can display live text for the other party. At launch, Live Translation supports English, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish, with Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese coming later this year.
Pricing and availability
AirPods Pro 3 are priced at S$349. Customers in Singapore can pre-order starting Thursday, September 11, with availability in stores beginning Friday, September 19.
