Achieving Audible Mania with Devialet Mania

This week, Devialet was kind enough to send me their first portable smart speaker, Devialet Mania to test out. I tested the immersive audio promise by watching the latest Star Wars movie, The Rise of Skywalker and listening to one of my favourite singers, Lewis Capaldi. To kick the article off, here’s a quick unboxing experience:

First and foremost, the sound quality of Devialet Mania is unmatched. The system uses ASC (Active Stereo Calibration) with 4 microphones and 2 SAM-powered subwoofers (Speaker Active Matching), which are able to produce incredibly deep and powerful bass, as well as crystal clear highs with 360-degree coverage.

In The Rise of Skywalker, this meant that I felt like I was indeed in the middle of the action, with the sound moving around me and enveloping me in the experience. It made all of the action scenes in the movie feel incredibly intense and immersive, and it brought the score to life in a way that I have never experienced before.

Seeing that the Mania is the only product on the portable speaker market that offers this in a portable structure, that means listeners like myself can get a superior listening experience anywhere and anytime.

When listening to Lewis Capaldi’s new song – Pointless, made the listening experience stunning with Lewis Capaldi’s powerful vocals and the song’s emotive piano melody coming through with incredible clarity and depth.

With the use of the Devialet app, I was able to tweak the listening experience to my liking by changing the volume, the ASC, and Equaliser while switching music. This makes it convenient for me to tweak the listening experience to my liking whenever and wherever I want to.

Another impressive aspect of Devialet Mania is its sleek and modern spherical design. The system is incredibly easy to set up with Bluetooth and the Mania speakers are both compact and aesthetically pleasing, making them a great addition to any home theatre setup.

Overall, I was thoroughly impressed by the Devialet Mania and its ability to enhance the viewing experience of The Rise of Skywalker. If you are a Star Wars fan or simply someone who loves high-quality sound, I would highly recommend giving Devialet Mania a try.
