AMD has expanded its Radeon RX 9000 Series graphics card lineup with the launch of the new Radeon RX 9050, a budget-friendly GPU designed to bring the latest RDNA 4 gaming technologies to mainstream gamers. Priced from US$279 (approx. S$355), the new graphics card targets smooth 1080p gaming while delivering improved efficiency, modern ray tracing capabilities and support for AMD’s latest FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) technologies.
Built for Everyday 1080p Gaming
Positioned as an affordable upgrade for older gaming systems, the Radeon RX 9050 is aimed at players who spend most of their time in competitive esports titles as well as today’s AAA releases.
Built on AMD’s latest RDNA 4 architecture, the card features 16 Compute Units, 8GB of GDDR6 memory, a 1.92GHz game clock with boost speeds of up to 2.60GHz, and an impressively low 92W Total Board Power (TBP). The efficient design makes it suitable for users looking for a straightforward drop-in upgrade without requiring a high-capacity power supply.
AMD says the card supports next-generation ray tracing, AV1 video encoding for high-quality streaming and the latest FSR upscaling technologies to boost gaming performance while maintaining image quality.
