Ulysse Nardin continues to redefine the boundaries of modern horology with the launch of the BLAST [AMOUREUXPEINTRE], a bold artistic collaboration with fashion designer and multidisciplinary artist Amoureuxpeintre. Three years in the making, this limited-edition masterpiece unites two worlds—watchmaking and fashion—into a minimalist time-telling sculpture.
A Collision of Creative Universes
At the heart of this collaboration lies a shared philosophy: challenge convention and find meaning in the overlooked. Ulysse Nardin, a brand renowned for disruptive icons like the Freak, and Amoureuxpeintre, an emerging global creative force, joined forces to reinterpret time itself.
Minimalist by Essence, Complex by Craft
The BLAST [AMOUREUXPEINTRE] is a striking reinterpretation of the Skeleton X. Refined down to its essential elements, the watch offers a transparent yet blurred vision of time.
Its dial is reduced and reimagined with a frosted-ice effect created through advanced laser techniques, and a smoky fumé finish is achieved using fine metallisation. The result is a blurred sapphire skeleton dial that whispers rather than shouts, encouraging a deeper connection with the watch’s mechanical heart.
Masterpiece in Motion
Powered by the Calibre UN-371, the watch delivers a 96-hour power reserve and incorporates one of Ulysse Nardin’s most innovative developments from the Freak Vision: a wide, ultra-light silicon balance wheel with nickel flyweights.
The 42mm sandblasted titanium case in anthracite grey echoes the designer’s muted aesthetic, complemented by a minimalist crown and a signature-blurred sapphire caseback bearing Amoureuxpeintre’s discreet autograph.
Each of the 29 pieces in this exclusive series comes with a modern grey Alcantara strap and a matching anthracite PVD titanium buckle. Even the watch box is a design statement—crafted in shades of grey to reflect the tone and texture of the collaboration.
Retailing at SGD 47,900 (including tax), the BLAST [AMOUREUXPEINTRE] is a wearable artwork that invites its wearer to explore time through a different lens.
