Fujifilm has announced the launch of the latest addition to its X Series lineup, the FUJIFILM X-M5, designed to combine advanced functionality with an ultra-lightweight body. At just 355g, the X-M5 is the lightest model in the current X series, making it ideal for both beginners and photography enthusiasts looking for a versatile camera to capture everyday moments with ease.
Equipped with cutting-edge still and video features, the X-M5 offers a seamless experience for those seeking high-quality content creation on the go.
Compact and Elegant Design: Made for Everyday Use
The X-M5 boasts a compact body, measuring 111.9mm x 66.6mm x 38.0mm, making it easy to carry while maintaining the high-quality, elegant design characteristic of the X series. Its top plate is symmetrically laid out with dials, including a Film Simulation dial that allows users to switch between 20 different colour modes, giving each shot the look and feel of classic photographic film.
The AUTO mode on the top right dial enables even first-time users to effortlessly capture professional-grade stills and video.
Advanced Imaging Technology for Still Photography

At the core of the X-M5 is the 26.1-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and the powerful X-Processor 5 engine, providing exceptional image quality while optimizing power efficiency. The X-M5 features advanced AI-driven subject detection AF, recognizing a range of subjects, from animals and birds to cars and drones.

Additionally, the improved predictive AF algorithm ensures high-precision autofocus, even in low-contrast environments or with moving subjects.
Exceptional Video Capabilities: Shoot and Share with Ease
The X-M5 is packed with powerful video recording features, supporting 6.2K/30P 4:2:2 10-bit video directly to an SD card, alongside options for 4K/60P and 1080/240P.
The camera’s digital image stabilization ensures smooth footage, even when shooting on the move. Perfect for vloggers, the X-M5 introduces Vlog Mode with a user-friendly interface and a 9:16 Short Movie Mode for easy vertical video capture, tailored for social media sharing. Additionally, new bit rate options, 8 Mbps and 25 Mbps enable faster video uploads to external devices and platforms.
For enhanced audio, the X-M5 is the first Fujifilm camera to feature three built-in microphones with four directivity options—surround, front, back, and front & back—for precise sound capture. A new steady-state noise reduction function minimizes continuous background noises, such as air conditioning hum, ensuring clear audio in any environment.
Optional Accessories for Versatile Shooting
To support long video shoots in warmer environments, the FAN-001 Cooling Fan can be attached directly to the rear of the X-M5 without additional cables.

The TG-BT1 Tripod Grip offers enhanced stability and mobility, making it easier to capture self-portraits, low-angle shots, and more.
