Samsung has launched its 2024 lineup of monitors, including the Odyssey OLED gaming monitors, Smart Monitors, and ViewFinity monitors. These new models bring enhanced features and innovative technologies to deliver exceptional user experiences for both entertainment and productivity.
Odyssey OLED Series: Visual Excellence with Burn-In Prevention
The 2024 Odyssey OLED lineup features the new Odyssey OLED G8 and G6 models. The Odyssey OLED G8 is the first flat 32” Samsung OLED gaming monitor with 4K UHD resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, 240Hz refresh rate, and 0.03ms grey-to-grey (GtG) response time. The G6 model offers a 27” QHD resolution, 360Hz refresh rate, and 0.03ms GtG response time.
Both monitors include Samsung’s OLED Safeguard+ technology to prevent burn-in, along with a Dynamic Cooling System that effectively dissipates heat. The AI-powered NQ8 AI Gen3 processor upscales content to nearly 4K, enhancing gaming and entertainment quality. These models also feature FreeSync Premium Pro, OLED Glare Free technology, and a super slim metal design with Core Lighting+ for an immersive gaming experience.
Smart Monitor M8: AI-Powered Entertainment
The updated Smart Monitor M8 introduces AI enhancements with the NQM AI processor, which upscales content to nearly 4K and uses Active Voice Amplifier Pro to optimize dialogue by analyzing background noise.
The M8 also includes 360 Audio Mode, a built-in SlimFit Camera for video calls, and a new Workout Tracker that pairs with Galaxy Watch for real-time health data. The M7 and M5 models also come with improved features, making them versatile hubs for entertainment and productivity.
ViewFinity Series: Maximizing Creativity and Ease of Use
The ViewFinity lineup is designed for creatives and professionals, featuring the ViewFinity S8 and S6 models. These monitors support HDR10, display 1 billion colours, and are built with eco-friendly practices. The S8 models offer 27” and 32” screen options with 4K UHD resolution and a USB-C port with up to 90W charging.
The S6 models provide QHD resolution and a KVM switch for easy device management.
Samsung’s 2024 Odyssey gaming monitor lineup can be experienced at The Odyssey Never Stops pop-up at Marina Bay Sands from 20 June to 14 July. Pre-orders are available at the Samsung Online Store until 13 June, with general availability starting 14 June across various retail platforms.
