The Canon EOS M50 Mark II camera [Review]

I’ve been using the Canon EOS M50 Mark II camera for the past few months now and recently I experimented with different focal lengths on my EF-M-15-45mm, f/3.5-6.3 lens!

I wanted to show you guys how to achieve different types of photos, all with one camera and one lens. All you need to do is to turn the dial on the lens. Super Easy!

1. Wide angle

For this, you’ll have to use a focal length of 15mm, and the lens will work like a wide-angle lens. This focal length is best suited for full-body OOTDs and travel shots.

Do note that there will be slight distortion at the top and bottom areas of the frame, so if you try taking a portrait shot / close-up shot, parts of the person will look longer than it actually is.

Here are some full-body ootd pics I took with this focal length!

2. Half-body shots

A focal length of 24-28mm for these shots will work best. This is because there is no distortion, so facial features are not distorted. To me, this is the in-between focal length and it works well for half-body shots as well as full-body shots.

3. Portrait shots

And for this, turn the lens zoom all the way to 45mm! This focal length is the best for that dreamy bokeh and also for portrait / close-up shots

You can see the beautiful bokeh in the background caused by the depth of field.

The Canon EOS M50 Mark II with the EF-M-15-45mm, f/3.5-6.3 lens is a really versatile duo! You can zoom in to 45mm to get dreamy bokeh portrait pics, 24mm for half-body or full-body OOTDs or zoom all the way out to 15mm for wide-angle travel shots / OOTDs.

And at just 350g (body), it is an extremely light camera as compared to the other cameras out there! A great choice for the ladies.

Also, the camera body itself is able to be paired with different camera lenses (over 60 different lenses). So this means, it is able to suit whatever needs you may have.

The photos can be transferred to your phone easily as well via the built-in wifi and Bluetooth. How convenient!

Isn’t this camera so chic? Perfect for ladies and gentlemen!
