Introducing LG’s Newest Ultra Series Monitors

The LG Ultra series monitors are designed to deliver optimal performance be it at home or office. The ultra series consists of UltraGear, UltraWide, and UltraFine. Each designed with gamers, digital artist and technology professionals in mind.

The UltraGear is LG’s new gaming monitors can provide the ultimate gaming experience with their Nano IPS 1 millisecond Gray-to-Gray (GTG) displays. UltraGear has 3 different type of models namely; 27GP950, 32GP850, and 34GP950G. Each of the models is differentiated by the screen size, resolution, and refresh rate.

27GP950 is a 27-inch 4K UHD monitor possessing a refresh rate of 144Hz, overclockable to 160Hz, allowing it to provide fast and fluid gameplay. This model also supports HDMI 2.1 Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) for fluid images. The monitor allows users of both PC and gaming consoles to enjoy 4K gaming at up to 120Hz. This model submerges its users deeper into their favourite titles, without needing to worry about images tearing or stuttering.

The last model 34GP950G is a 2021 CES Innovation Award winner. It is a 34-inch monitor that can bring cinematic quality to games. 34GP950G is equipped with a 21:9 aspect ratio UltraWide QHD Nano IPS display, with a refresh rate of 144Hz, overclockable to 180Hz. This model also features the highest tier of G-SYNC, the NIVDIA G-SYNC ULTIMATE, this feature enables the user to immerse themselves deeper into their gaming experience by providing the best picture quality with minimised visual tearing and stuttering.

The LG UltraWide monitor is another CES Innovation Award honoree. UltraWide is a 40-inch curved Nano IPS monitor, with 5K2K UltraWide (5,120 x 2,160) resolution and 21:9 aspect ratio. This monitor helps to boost users’ productivity but allowing them to multitask and do more on-screen at any one time. The LG UltraFine is perfect for creative industry professionals such as film producers and visual effects artists due to its superior HDR and SDR picture quality. It is a 31.5-inch 4K UHD monitor, equipped with a self-emissive OLED display allowing the monitor a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 while the independent dimming control cancels off the distracting halo effect that is common to HDR LCD displays. This model can achieve the colour fidelity digital artists’ demand owing to the 10-bit 4K OLED display and LG Calibration Studio. The LG calibration allows users to make direct adjustments to guarantee the highest degree of colour accuracy and consistency.
