Bold Red and Bold Sound with the Huawei Freebuds 3 Valentine Red Edition

Some of you might know that I DJ, so I am very particular about audio quality. I love my headphones, but some days I carry a clutch and prefer travelling light, so wireless earbuds are the perfect audio accessory. My current pick for such cases would definitely be the Huawei Freebuds 3. I even got myself the sexy Valentine Red Edition, check them out!

A Perfect Fit

With so many wireless earbuds nowadays that have stunning audio quality, how do we differentiate them? The most important factor for me is ergonomics.

If you use earbuds for consecutive hours day in day out, then you would want to ensure that they’re comfortable. The open-fit design of the Huawei Freebuds 3 is comfortable and very secure for different ear sizes, with the stem barely resting under your ear lobes. It is also incredibly light at 4.5g.

How Does it Work?

With the earbuds still in its charging case, I simply pressed the button on the case for a few seconds to pair with my smartphone. It works best with the Huawei AI Life app which is great if you want to manage your smart devices in one place. With the app, I can change the shortcuts as well, or you can use the default ones – double tap on the right side to skip to the next song, and double tap on the left to switch Active Noise Cancelling on or off. Simple!

Standing Out

One feature that you don’t see in many earbuds is the bone sensor. Your first reaction might be, “Huh? Sense what bone?” Nothing is touching your bone, not to worry!

The earbuds are equipped with a sensor that detects bone vibration so that your voice will be enhanced during calls for crystal clear conversations. Now that most seminars, lessons and project meetings are conducted via Zoom, this feature is especially useful!

R&B that Sounds Great

I’m currently listening to ‘Come Thru’ by Summer Walker and Usher, and I got to say that the audio output is satisfying with a punchy bass. Nothing can be compared to the bulky headphones that I usually use, but for a 4.5g earbuds that is convenient to slip into my pocket, I am pleased with the sound quality of the R&B tracks I am listening to on the Huawei Freebuds 3.

My overall verdict? At $238, it is worth a purchase for comfortable earbuds I can use every day.

The Freebuds 3 also come in white and black.
