True Freedom with the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless

Since 2016, a whole slew of wireless in-ear headphones have launched. I am not surprised by this development – removing the wired element of our conventional earphones liberates us from tangles, noisy wire movements, and sweaty wires resting on our neck. To prove it to you, I jammed in a crowded area with wireless earbuds and felt absolutely no worries. Of the array of wireless earbuds in the market, why did I choose the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless?

Uncompromised Sound

I can confidently say that the True Wireless does not disappoint in terms of sound performance. The 7mm driver ensures that the audio is controlled and balanced, and there is no apparent shortfall in the different frequencies. When I watch my YouTube videos, I never had any lip-syncing issue, a result of the Qualcomm apt-X Low Latency compatibility.

Smaller than Palm-Size

The Sennheiser Momentum range offers something for everyone – over-ear headphones, in-ear wired earphones and more. The True Wireless (and its elegant charging case) is only half the size of my palm, so it is really easy to slip it into my pocket on the go. The design of the earbuds triumphs a lot of wireless earbuds available, with the classic black housing and polished metallic spin ring levelling up the aesthetics. Design-wise, it is hands-down 10/10. Thankfully, the pretty case is functional as well, providing an additional eight hours of battery life on top of the earbuds’ own four hours.

Mini, but packed with Smart Features

The True Wireless Smart Pause feature lets me remove one earpiece, and the music will automatically stop, much like what a lot of mid to high-range headphones offer. When I insert the earpiece back in my ears, the music picks up again with almost no wait time. Playing, pausing, and adjusting the volume is so simple – a single tap on the left side plays and pauses the music, while a long press and hold on the two sides changes the volume. I rarely use voice assistant, but I can quickly call upon Siri and Google with a tap on the right side.

NXT Angel with Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless earbuds

Overall, I am more than happy with the stylish Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless. For such a small size, it can still achieve full-range sounds and is easy to use. The feeling when I snap the earbuds back in place in the magnetic compartments of the case is as satisfying as dancing around Jewel with complete freedom without wires.
