“I knew of Vanessa through business camp and then ended up living across the hall from her and we actually get along very well! I only ever tried a wearable once at a fitness event. I’ve been wearing the Fitbit Inspire HR for a couple of days and I do like it, and though I had a choice of trying the purple version I went with the white as it’s more versatile to match what I wear everyday, especially as the design is sleek and thin, modern and minimalistic. Normally I don’t wear watches but this is easy to wear everyday and you can wash it while taking a shower.
I wore it to a pilates class and it was quite easy to log my workout. I found that it helps tell you what workout zone is and gives you information like how cardiovascular fitness is compared to other women my age. It also tracks how much water I drink which I found very useful. I haven’t been really drinking enough water since I entered university so its great that I can now see my daily water consumption and adjust it.
As a student you don’t really sleep alot, so I also found the sleep tracking to be very helpful. I’ve never tried sleep tracking before so seeing my sleep cycle will let me regualrise my sleep.
I’ve only started taking my fitness seriously in the last year, and while I do know how much workouts I do a week, I don’t know how much water I’m drinking or how active I am every day, so it helps me balance out each day.” @naatella
