With the largest battery capacities ever offered in the X Series, the new smartphones are designed to deliver greater versatility for photography, video creation and everyday use.
Next-Level Flagship Imaging, From Pro Telephoto to Everyday Moments
Co-engineered with ZEISS, the vivo X500 Series combines vivo’s imaging technology with ZEISS’s optical expertise to support a wide range of photography needs, from professional telephoto shooting to everyday snapshots.

The vivo X500 Pro Max features a 200MP ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera with a 1/1.4-inch Ultra-Sensing HP0 sensor and an 85mm-equivalent focal length. It also incorporates CIPA 7.0 Professional Stabilisation, which helps reduce motion blur and enables longer handheld exposures in low-light conditions.
Powered by the X-Track Engine, the X500 Pro Max offers subject tracking across both photography and video modes. Its Lock-On Subject Tracking function keeps subjects in focus even when they briefly move out of the frame or become temporarily obstructed. In Snapshot Mode, autofocus tracking operates at up to 60fps for smoother and more responsive subject tracking.

The Super Snapshot Engine further enhances long-range photography with 30x Long-Range Motion Snapshot on the X500 Pro Max and 20x on the X500 Pro. These features help users capture fast-moving subjects from a distance with greater clarity and consistency. For video recording, 4K 120fps Pro AF Tracking Video and Auto Framing Video provide additional tools for tracking subjects and maintaining the desired composition.
Together, these capabilities are designed for dynamic shooting scenarios such as sports events, wildlife photography and concerts, where subjects can move quickly or remain far away.
For creators who need even greater reach, the X500 Pro Max supports the 400mm-equivalent vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra.

The extender provides super-telephoto capabilities for photographing distant subjects and supports more than 10 shooting modes, including Stage, Snapshot and Pro, offering greater flexibility across different shooting conditions.
The standard vivo X500 is designed as an everyday creative companion. It features a 72mm-equivalent ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera and a ZEISS Pro-Level Ultra-Sensing Camera with a 50MP 1/1.28-inch sensor, similar to the sensor used in the X300 Pro.

For portrait photography, the new Cinematic Portrait feature intelligently optimises portrait lighting across daylight, dusk and indoor environments. It also applies film-inspired styles to help users produce natural-looking portraits in different settings.
Meanwhile, vivo Colour Palette gives users more detailed control over portrait colours, allowing them to adjust tone, glow and grain to achieve a more distinctive and personalised look.
Cinematic Excellence, Mastered from Dynamic Action to Portraits
The vivo X500 Pro Max’s imaging system is built around the ZEISS TrueDynamic Main Camera, which is designed to help creators capture detailed video with a wide dynamic range, including in challenging lighting conditions.

The camera supports Cinematic Pro Log Video, which captures more information in highlights and shadows to provide greater flexibility during post-production. Its dedicated Log curve is tuned for the camera’s claimed 17EV ultra-high dynamic range, preserving detail and tonal gradation across a wide range of lighting conditions.
This is particularly useful when recording backlit portraits, sunrises and sunsets, where bright highlights and darker areas can be difficult to capture simultaneously. The additional image information gives creators greater control over colour grading and the final appearance of their footage.

The main camera also introduces 4K Dolby Vision Portrait Video, combining cinematic image quality with portrait enhancement. It is designed to preserve tonal depth and natural-looking skin tones in complex lighting conditions, including when recording people against bright backgrounds such as sunsets.
The new 4K Cinematic Portrait Video mode offers several cinematic colour styles, including Sunny Day and Vibrant, co-developed by vivo and ZEISS. Combined with the camera’s high dynamic range, these styles allow users to achieve a cinematic look directly in their recordings.

For high-speed recording, the ZEISS TrueDynamic Main Camera supports native 4K 240fps High Frame Rate Video with extended recording time. The feature is available in Video, Pro Video and Slo-mo modes, giving creators more flexibility when capturing fast-moving subjects or producing slow-motion footage while retaining fine details and fluid movement.
The X500 Pro Max also features 3-degree Gimbal-Grade Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), which helps keep video footage stable and smooth.

Across the X500 Series, users can access a range of video tools designed for everyday content creation. These include Multi-Focal 4K 120fps High-Spec Video and 4K CinematicColour Video, allowing users to record footage at different focal lengths while retaining high-resolution video quality.
Film Style mode introduces a 2.4:1 aspect ratio alongside film-inspired effects such as motion blur, halation and grain. These effects recreate aspects of the visual character of film, allowing users to produce cinematic-looking footage with a single tap.

Stage Mode 3.0 adds features for concert and live-event recording. These include Auto Framing Fancam Video, 4K Dual-View Stage Video, 4K Stage All-in-One Recording and Super Telephoto Stage Snapshot. The features allow users to capture themselves, their favourite performers or both in the same recording, while providing additional ways to document live performances.

The series also features enhanced 4K CinematiColour Video with film-inspired colour styles such as Paris Afterglow, Golden Hour and Pastel, giving users more options for creating atmospheric footage.

For additional creative control, Movie Workshop includes Auto Framing, which intelligently tracks subjects to keep them centred in the frame, and Vortex Shot, which captures stabilised 360-degree rotating footage with a single tap.
OriginOS 7: Smoother, More Connected, and Smarter
The vivo X500 Series runs on OriginOS 7, which combines interface improvements, cross-device connectivity and AI-powered productivity tools to deliver a more connected smartphone experience.

For multitasking, Origin Workbench supports floating windows and drag-and-drop file transfers between applications. This allows users to switch between tasks and move content across apps more conveniently.
Origin Smooth Engine is designed to deliver fluid animations and responsive interactions, including interruptible animations that respond naturally to user input. It works alongside Ultra-Core Computing, Memory Fusion and Dual Rendering to help maintain smooth performance over time.

These features provide more convenient access to content and help maintain continuity between devices, particularly for users who create and manage content across different platforms.
OriginOS 7 also introduces additional personalisation options. Dynamic Translucent Material adds a translucent visual treatment to the interface, while Wiggle (Boing) transforms static images into animated visuals. The system-level StickIt feature extracts subjects from photos, allowing users to reposition them for more creative compositions.

AI-powered features are designed to simplify everyday tasks. Snap & Go recognises information in screenshots, while AI Next Up converts recognised schedules into automatic reminders displayed on the home screen.
AI Recorder offers speaker recognition, transcript outlining, transcript refinement and smart summaries. It supports six templates, including Meeting Summary, Lecture Notes and Interview Summary, helping users turn recorded conversations and other content into more structured notes and key information.
Unleashing Advanced Performance, Efficiency, and Endurance
The vivo X500 Pro Max is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro, built on TSMC’s 2nm manufacturing process and featuring a new 2+3+3 architecture. The chipset is designed to deliver powerful graphics performance while improving power efficiency.
