Frederique Constant Refreshes Two Icons in 2026

Frederique Constant has used Watches & Wonders 2026 to unveil major updates to two of its most recognisable collections, introducing a redesigned Classic Worldtimer Manufacture alongside two fresh interpretations of the stylish Classics Manchette.
The Geneva-based watchmaker continues its pursuit of accessible luxury watchmaking with a combination of in-house innovation, refined aesthetics and contemporary versatility, reinforcing its reputation for offering Swiss-made complications at compelling price points.

A New Chapter for the Classic Worldtimer Manufacture
First launched in 2012, the Classic Worldtimer Manufacture has become one of Frederique Constant’s signature timepieces. Combining an elegant design with an in-house world-time complication, the model has earned a loyal following among travellers and collectors alike.

For 2026, the watch receives its most comprehensive update yet. At its heart is the new Manufacture FC-719 calibre, the 35th in-house movement developed by Frederique Constant since the company’s founding in 1988.

Designed and assembled within the brand’s manufacture, the new movement retains the user-friendly world-time functionality of its predecessor while delivering significant technical improvements.

Most notably, the power reserve has been extended from 38 hours to an impressive 72 hours, providing a full three days of autonomy. Despite the larger mainspring and enhanced performance, the movement is housed within a more compact 40mm case, making it one of the most optimised world-time watches in its category.

The complication remains one of the model’s key attractions. The watch simultaneously displays the time across all 24 global time zones, with a two-tone day-and-night indicator allowing users to instantly distinguish between daylight and nighttime hours around the world. Frederique Constant has also removed the date display, creating a cleaner dial layout that improves readability and places greater emphasis on the world-time function.

Visible through the sapphire caseback, the FC-719 movement features traditional decorative finishes including Côtes de Genève, circular graining, snailing and satin-brushed surfaces, underscoring the Maison’s commitment to fine watchmaking craftsmanship.

Three Distinct New Versions
Leading the collection is a limited-edition gem-set version produced in just 88 individually numbered pieces, a nod to Frederique Constant’s founding year.

The watch features a bezel set with 70 diamonds and 12 diamond hour markers, totalling 0.785 carats. Its striking dial combines a light blue sunburst ocean with raised grey continents, creating impressive depth and visual contrast. The limited edition is supplied with two interchangeable alligator straps.

The second model continues the collection’s classic aesthetic with navy-blue oceans, grey relief continents and luminous applied indexes. This version debuts a new five-link stainless steel bracelet featuring alternating satin-brushed and polished surfaces, offering a contemporary take on the traditional worldtimer.

Completing the trio is a sophisticated gradient-blue dial variant paired with taupe relief continents and a white city ring. The subtle colour transitions create an elegant play of light, while an interchangeable alligator strap enhances its versatility.

Classics Manchette Returns with a Glamorous Twist
Alongside the Worldtimer updates, Frederique Constant has expanded its growing Classics Manchette collection with two bold new designs that blend jewellery-inspired elegance with contemporary fashion influences.

The first model pairs a gold-tone bracelet featuring the collection’s signature Clou de Paris pattern with a vibrant turquoise stone dial. Each dial is unique, ensuring no two watches are exactly alike. The striking combination of gold and turquoise delivers a glamorous, fashion-forward aesthetic reminiscent of red-carpet jewellery.

For those seeking a more understated look, the second version features a stainless steel bracelet and a mint-green sunray-brushed dial. While softer and more versatile, it retains the distinctive personality of the Manchette collection, offering a fresh and modern take on everyday luxury.

Both models continue the collection’s slim profile and minimalist dial design, demonstrating Frederique Constant’s ability to merge watchmaking with contemporary style.

Combining Heritage and Innovation
The latest releases highlight Frederique Constant’s dual focus on technical watchmaking and elegant design.

The upgraded Classic Worldtimer Manufacture demonstrates the brand’s growing expertise in developing practical in-house complications, while the expanded Classics Manchette collection showcases its flair for creating fashion-conscious timepieces with Swiss watchmaking credentials.

With improved performance, refreshed aesthetics and a wider range of options for different tastes, Frederique Constant’s Watches & Wonders 2026 novelties strengthen two collections that continue to define the brand’s modern identity.

The Classic Worldtimer Manufacture starts at SGD 8,720, while the diamond-set limited edition is priced at SGD 13,950. The new Classics Manchette models are priced from SGD 2,260 for the stainless steel version and SGD 3,480 for the gold-tone turquoise edition.
