Hublot and The Hour Glass Unveil Limited-Edition Classic Fusion Titanium Retroverse Watches

Hublot has partnered with The Hour Glass to launch the exclusive Hublot Classic Fusion Titanium Retroverse collection, a bold reinterpretation of time and individuality through contemporary watchmaking.

Announced in Singapore on 29 April 2026, the collection introduces three distinct colour variants — blue, green and grey — with each version strictly limited to just 30 pieces worldwide.

According to Hublot and The Hour Glass, the Retroverse collection represents a philosophical shift in luxury watchmaking, focusing less on perfection and more on individuality, personal history and the passage of time.

Aged Titanium Design Gives Every Watch a Unique Character
The defining feature of the Hublot Classic Fusion Titanium Retroverse is its 42mm brushed blackened aged titanium case and bezel, designed to give each watch a naturally worn and distinctive appearance from the very first wear.

The case measures 10.4mm thick and incorporates Hublot’s signature six H-shaped polished titanium screws alongside a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating for improved readability.

Michael Tay, Group Managing Director of The Hour Glass, described the collection as “a study in character and the passage of time,” adding that the aged titanium finish ensures no two watches feel the same.

Unclockwise Movement Challenges Traditional Perception of Time
One of the most unusual aspects of the collection is its unclockwise mechanical movement.

Powering the watches is a specially re-engineered version of Hublot’s HUB1105 self-winding movement, modified exclusively for this collaboration to operate in reverse direction.

The movement consists of 63 components and 21 jewels, operating at 4Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) while delivering a 48-hour power reserve.

According to the brands, the reverse-running movement encourages wearers to rethink their traditional relationship with time, adding both technical intrigue and symbolic meaning for collectors.

Three Gradient Dial Variants with Matching Luxury Straps
Each version of the Hublot Classic Fusion Titanium Retroverse features a grained gradient dial available in blue, green or grey, paired with rhodium-plated polished hands.

To complete the overall aesthetic, every watch comes with:
● A primary-aged calf leather strap
● An additional aged alligator strap
● A brushed blackened aged stainless steel and black-plated deployant clasp
The colour of each strap is carefully matched to its respective dial for a cohesive, collector-focused design.

A Celebration of Innovation and Longstanding Partnership
Julian Tornare, CEO of Hublot, said the collaboration reflects the long-standing relationship between Hublot and The Hour Glass, built on “absolute trust” and a shared desire to push creative and technical boundaries.

He also highlighted the sophistication of collectors in the region, noting that many appreciate both the complexity of Hublot’s movements and the bold use of materials.

Availability and Pricing
The Hublot Classic Fusion Titanium Retroverse retails at S$16,900 and is available exclusively through The Hour Glass boutiques.

With only 30 pieces available per colourway, the Retroverse collection is positioned as a rare collector’s edition for enthusiasts seeking a more unconventional and expressive take on luxury watchmaking.
