ASUS has introduced the next generation of its compact computing lineup with the launch of the NUC 16 Pro Mini PC, a Copilot+ PC built for creators, developers and business professionals seeking powerful AI performance in a space-saving design.
Blending cutting-edge processing capabilities with advanced connectivity and security features, the NUC 16 Pro is engineered to support everything from content creation to Edge AI workloads.
Built for the AI era
At the heart of the NUC 16 Pro is up to an Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 Series 3 processor, paired with an integrated Intel Arc™ B390 GPU and a dedicated 50 TOPS NPU, delivering up to 180 Platform TOPS of AI performance. This enables real-time AI processing directly on the device, supporting applications such as video conferencing enhancements, analytics and language translation.

As a Copilot+ PC, the system is designed to handle AI-assisted workflows with low latency and improved data privacy by processing tasks locally.
Faster performance, lower power consumption
The NUC 16 Pro delivers notable gains over previous-generation models, including:
● Up to 1.5X faster 3D graphics performance
● 20% faster overall performance
● 50% lower power consumption
It is equipped with up to 96GB of LPDDR5x memory (8533MT/s), ensuring high-speed multitasking and improved efficiency for demanding workloads.
Designed for hyper-connected environments
Targeting enterprise and Edge AI use cases, the mini PC offers robust connectivity options, including:
● Dual 2.5G LAN ports for network redundancy
● Intel WiFi 7 and Bluetooth® 6.0 for ultra-fast wireless connections

The device also supports multi-display setups via dual HDMI 2.1 ports, with optional DisplayPort™. Additional I/O includes multiple USB 3.2 Gen2 ports and Thunderbolt™ 4, enabling seamless integration into modern workstations.
Advanced cooling in a compact form
Despite its small footprint, the NUC 16 Pro features an advanced thermal design to sustain peak performance. A dual-fan system, combined with three heat pipes and dual-side fin arrays, ensures efficient heat dissipation while maintaining quieter operation.

Housed in a 0.7-litre chassis measuring just 144 x 122 x 41mm, the device also incorporates ASUS’ Tool-less Chassis 2.0, allowing users to easily upgrade dual M.2 SSD storage without tools.
Security and local AI deployment
Security is a key focus, with Zero Trust architecture and integrated fTPM 2.0 delivering enterprise-grade protection.

The system is also supported by ASUS AI SuperBuild, software that enables users to deploy customised AI large language models (LLMs) locally. This allows organisations to run AI applications offline, safeguarding sensitive data such as financial records or patient information while maintaining 24/7 AI-assisted operations.
Built for reliability
Designed for demanding environments, the NUC 16 Pro meets MIL-STD-810H standards, ensuring durability and reliable performance under extreme conditions. This makes it suitable for continuous use in enterprise and industrial settings.
