Honor has officially unveiled the Power 2, its latest outdoor-focused smartphone built for extreme endurance, robust connectivity, and all-around reliability. Topping the charts with one of the largest batteries in a smartphone yet, the Power 2 delivers flagship-level performance wrapped in a premium yet rugged design.
Epic Battery Life & Fast Charging
At the heart of the Power 2 is a massive 10,080 mAh “Qinghai Lake” battery (typical value, rated 9,886 mAh) that promises exceptional real-world endurance. It supports 80 W wired fast charging along with 27 W wired reverse charging, letting the phone act as a power source for other devices when needed. Honor also designs the battery for up to 6 years of healthy use, and it features charging bypass technology so you can play games or use the phone while charging without stressing the battery.

Honor’s tests suggest impressive usage times across categories like video playback, navigation, gaming, and continuous screen-on usage, making the Power 2 one of the longest-lasting smartphones on the market.
Next-Gen Communications & Connectivity
The Power 2 introduces second-generation Honor Hongyan communication, driven by a six-wing antenna system and the Honor C1+ RF enhancement chip. According to Honor, this architecture boosts signal strength by up to 200 % and enhances performance in weak network environments, especially in elevators or underground scenarios. It supports dual-channel parallel transmission across 13 frequency bands and quad-channel reception on 34 frequency bands, leading the industry in stable connectivity.

Precision navigation is also improved with a multi-source positioning engine that includes tri-frequency BeiDou and dual-frequency GPS, helping reduce routing errors and improve pedestrian locational accuracy.
Powerful Performance with Dimensity 8500 Elite
Honor Power 2 is the first smartphone powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 Elite chipset. This octa-core chip, with configurations like a 3.4 GHz prime core, delivers strong performance and pushes the device past 2.4 million points on AnTuTu benchmarks.

Honor pairs this chipset with advanced cooling technology (including an enhanced vapour chamber and graphite layers) to maintain peak performance even under load.
Display & Visual Features
The phone features a 6.79-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, wide DCI-P3 colour gamut, and a peak local brightness of up to 8000 nits for excellent outdoor visibility.

Honor’s Oasis Eye Protection Screen adds functions like low-blue-light display, AI brightness optimisation, defocus vision relief, and 3840 Hz zero-risk PWM dimming for smoother visuals and reduced eye strain in low-light conditions.
Durability, Design & Build
Crafted with a premium metal frame and refined with cold-carving techniques, the Honor Power 2 balances durability with refined aesthetics. It’s certified to IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K standards for dust and water resistance and features SGS-certified durability against drops, bending, and pressure. Honor also integrates AI rain-touch controls and water-drain functions to keep the touchscreen responsive even in wet conditions.

Three stylish colours are offered: Sunrise Orange, Snow White, and Midnight Black, all accenting the phone’s rugged build and tech-forward style.
Camera & Audio
For photography, the Power 2 includes a 50 MP main camera with image stabilisation and a 5 MP ultra-wide lens, backed by Honor’s AI imaging features.

There’s also a 16 MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The phone’s dual 1115 superlinear speakers support stereo sound and deliver rich audio for media and calls.
Enhanced Outdoor Mode
Honor upgrades its AI Outdoor Mode on the Power 2, adding network optimisation, noise-reducing outdoor calls, voice-activated answer/hang-up, smart weather notifications, and dynamic brightness adjustments to improve visibility and usability in bright conditions.
