Zyxel Networks Launches First Industrial WiFi 7 Access Point to Drive Industry 4.0 Connectivity

Zyxel Networks, a global leader in secure, AI-powered cloud networking solutions, has unveiled its first industrial-grade wireless access point, the BE5000 4-Stream WiFi 7 Dual-Radio NebulaFlex Pro Industrial Access Point (IAP500BE).

Purpose-built for challenging environments such as warehouses, factories, and logistics centres, the new device is engineered to deliver ultra-fast WiFi 7 performance, robust reliability, and seamless connectivity for Industry 4.0 operations.

Accelerating Industrial Digital Transformation
Industrial facilities often face connectivity issues due to interference, dense shelving, and high ceilings that weaken wireless signals. The IAP500BE addresses these challenges with:

● WiFi 7 BE5000: Delivers multi-gigabit connectivity and ultra-low latency, ensuring stable communication for factory sensors, handheld devices, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), and control systems.

● Smart Mesh Multi-Link Operation (MLO): An industry-first feature that combines mesh networking and MLO to boost throughput by up to 40%, extending coverage and minimising dead zones.

● RF-First Design: With antenna isolation and optimised layouts, the access point reduces interference from nearby WiFi, mobile, and Bluetooth networks for cleaner, stronger signals.

Built to Withstand Industrial Environments
The IAP500BE is designed for maximum uptime and durability with a metal housing and fanless architecture that protects against dust, oil, and impact damage. It also operates across a temperature range of -25°C to 65°C and includes 6KV lightning and 15KV ESD protection, making it resilient in harsh conditions.

Redundant dual power inputs and reverse polarity safeguards ensure continuous operation even during power fluctuations or wiring errors—reducing costly downtime and maintenance.

Flexible Deployment and Easy Management
The IAP500BE’s design allows flexible installation—on DIN-rails, walls, or inside cabinets—and supports external antennas for expanded coverage. It offers three management options:

1. Standalone operation

2. On-premises controller management

3. Full Nebula Cloud integration, including a one-year Nebula Pro Pack license for advanced features such as AI-powered insights and centralised monitoring.

A Step Forward for Industrial Connectivity
“Many industrial organisations are still held back by outdated WiFi infrastructure,” said Gary Chen, ANZ Regional Head at Zyxel Networks. “With the IAP500BE, we’re breaking new ground in industrial networking. The combination of WiFi 7 speeds, resilient design, and flexible management tools will help industries accelerate their digital transformation.”
