Leica and USM have deepened their successful collaboration with the launch of the Leica | USM Cine Collection II, a suite of furniture and technology pairings that elegantly unite work and entertainment. This latest collection redefines two core environments of everyday life: the office as a hub for creativity, and the living room as a stage for immersive cinema.
Office: Elegance Meets Utility
For modern workspaces, USM has designed a line of modular sideboards tailored to integrate with the Leica Cine 1, Leica’s ultra-short-throw laser TV. These sideboards do more than store office essentials—they discreetly conceal cables, connections, and even projection technology behind clean panel systems.
When paired with the Cine 1, which includes an integrated motorised 100- or 120-inch projection screen, the result is a conference or meeting room transformed. Presentations come alive in razor-sharp 4K resolution, then, with a touch, the high-contrast screen retracts back into the furniture. The workspace reverts to a minimalist, distinguished setting—technology hidden, ambience intact.
Living Room: Furniture and Film in Harmony
In the home, the collection evolves into a premium entertainment solution. The modular sideboard again serves as the stage, concealing cable management, connections, and a retractable motorised screen. When active, the Leica Cine 1 delivers a cinematic experience with 4K visuals powered by triple RGB laser technology and immersive Dolby Atmos® surround sound. When the screen disappears into the furniture, the room is left uncluttered, with wall space free for artwork or design accents.
Two versions of the sideboard are available—compatible with either 100- or 120-inch screens—making it possible to adapt the system to different room sizes and interior design schemes. The approach ensures technology serves the space, not the other way around.
