The Hive NTU

The Hive NTU is a striking architectural marvel located in Singapore. Its unique ‘dim sum basket’ design symbolizes collaboration, creativity, and the spirit of community. To capture the essence of this place, I utilized the Canon EOS R50 to its fullest potential.

From a distance, I utilized the camera’s landscape mode to capture the Hive within its surroundings. The camera’s intelligent scene analysis and automatic settings adjustment delivered stunning landscape shots with vibrant colours and incredible depth.

Stepping inside the Hive, the camera’s auto-focus system and image stabilization capabilities ensured crisp, clear images, even in challenging lighting conditions.

With the Canon EOS R50’s vari-angle touchscreen, I effortlessly positioned the camera low to the ground, capturing a captivating bottom-up shot of the Hive. The camera’s quick and accurate autofocus allowed me to emphasize the architectural details from a unique perspective.

The Interlace

The Interlace, an award-winning residential development, is a breathtaking sight to behold. Its unconventional design, inspired by the concept of a “village in the sky,” redefines urban living. With the Canon EOS R50, I captured a mesmerizing shot that showcased the grandeur and uniqueness of this architectural gem.

Positioned at a distance, I used the Canon EOS R50’s powerful zoom capabilities to capture a single shot of the Interlace. The camera’s high-resolution sensor and image stabilization ensured sharp details and minimal distortion, even from afar.

Tanjong Pagar OASIA Hotel

Located in the heart of Tanjong Pagar, the OASIA Hotel offers a captivating blend of modern architecture.

To capture the hotel’s beauty from a unique perspective, I ventured to the Sky Garden. The camera’s exceptional image quality and colour accuracy highlighted the lush greenery surrounding the hotel, creating a picturesque landscape shot.

Buddha Tooth Relic Temple

A stone’s throw away was the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum, located in the heart of Chinatown in Singapore. It is a renowned Buddhist temple that holds a significant relic believed to be a tooth of Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism. The temple’s history is closely intertwined with the rich heritage of Buddhism in Singapore

The temple’s architecture follows the Tang dynasty style and reflects the grandeur of traditional Chinese Buddhist temples. Intricate carvings, vibrant colours, and ornate decorations adorn the building, creating a captivating ambience for visitors.

Over the years, the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple has become a prominent landmark in Singapore, drawing tourists and locals alike. The temple hosts numerous religious ceremonies, festivals, and cultural events, allowing people to immerse themselves in the vibrant Buddhist culture.

After some exploring, we stumbled upon a well-reviewed KBBQ restaurant called Sin Manbok in Tanjong Pagar. The KBBQ restaurant provided an unforgettable gastronomic experience. With the Canon EOS R50’s superb low-light performance and enhanced colour reproduction, I effortlessly captured mouthwatering shots of sizzling grilled meats and delectable side dishes.
