OMEGA Launches Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph “007 First Light” Inspired by Upcoming James Bond Video Game

Omega is taking its long-running partnership with James Bond into new territory with the launch of the Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph “007 First Light”, a special edition timepiece created to coincide with the upcoming 007 First Light video game. Blending the iconic design of the Seamaster Diver 300M with modern materials and a stealth-inspired aesthetic, the watch marks the first time Omega has released a Bond-themed model tied directly to a video game rather than a film.

The watch is based on the contemporary Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph platform and features a robust 44mm stainless steel case paired with several black ceramic components. The unidirectional rotating bezel is fitted with a polished black ceramic insert featuring a white enamel diving scale and a luminous marker at 12 o’clock, while the black ceramic dial is decorated with the Seamaster collection’s signature laser-engraved wave pattern.

A subtle splash of colour comes from the red “Seamaster” logo, while the chronograph displays add further visual depth through contrasting finishes. The combined 12-hour and 60-minute chronograph counter at 3 o’clock incorporates both black and PVD bronze gold tones, complemented by a matching bronze-gold central chronograph seconds hand. Rhodium-plated skeleton hands and applied hour markers filled with Super-LumiNova ensure excellent legibility in all lighting conditions.

Like other recent Seamaster Diver 300M models, Omega uses a dual-colour luminescent display system. The hour markers and chronograph indications emit a blue glow in darkness, while the minute hand and bezel marker shine green, making it easier for divers and wearers to distinguish critical timing information at a glance.

The “007 First Light” theme continues throughout the watch. Black ceramic chronograph pushers reinforce the stealth-inspired design, while the signature helium escape valve remains positioned at 10 o’clock. Turning the watch over reveals a sapphire crystal caseback featuring metallised “007” and “FIRST LIGHT” logos.

Visible through the exhibition caseback is Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9900, one of the brand’s most advanced automatic chronograph movements. Certified by METAS, the movement offers exceptional precision, magnetic resistance up to 15,000 gauss and a 60-hour power reserve delivered by a twin-barrel architecture. The calibre also features a column-wheel chronograph mechanism and Omega’s renowned Co-Axial escapement, all decorated with the brand’s distinctive Geneva Waves in arabesque finishing.

The launch adds another chapter to Omega’s enduring relationship with the James Bond franchise, which began in 1995 when costume designer Lindy Hemming selected the Seamaster Professional Diver 300M for Pierce Brosnan’s debut as Bond in GoldenEye. Since then, the Seamaster has appeared in every Bond film, evolving alongside the character through various special editions worn by both Brosnan and Daniel Craig.

The watch is fitted with a black, grey and beige polyamide NATO strap secured by a Grade 5 titanium buckle. The strap keepers are engraved with both the “007” and “FIRST LIGHT” logos, reinforcing the connection to the upcoming game.

The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph “007 First Light” is priced at SGD$12,100 inclusive of taxes.
