Logitech G Unveils G512 X Gaming Keyboard With Analog Precision and Deep Customisation

Logitech G has officially introduced the new G512 X TMR Analogue/Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, a highly customisable gaming keyboard designed for players who want greater control, precision and flexibility in their gaming setup.

Announced in Singapore on 28 April 2026, the Logitech G512 X represents a major shift towards modular gaming hardware, combining analogue and mechanical switch technologies in a single keyboard platform built for personalisation and competitive performance.

According to Logitech G, the G512 X is the company’s first keyboard to feature Dual Swap technology, allowing gamers to mix analogue and traditional mechanical switches within the same keyboard. This enables players to customise important keys such as “WASD” with magnetic analogue switches for more precise movement control in games.

The keyboard integrates new TMR (Tunnel Magneto Resistance) sensor technology, enabling analogue-style input that goes beyond traditional binary on-and-off key presses. This allows actions to be mapped according to the depth of a keypress, making it particularly useful for racing games, flight simulators and tactical shooters where subtle movement control matters.

One of the headline features is Logitech G’s True 8K performance system, which combines 8K polling, reporting and processing rates to achieve a near-instant 0.125ms response time. Logitech says this significantly reduces latency and improves responsiveness during gameplay.

The G512 X also introduces Multipoint Action and SAPP (Second Actuation Pressure Point) Rings, allowing users to assign two different actions to a single key based on how deeply the key is pressed. For example, gamers can lightly tap a key to equip a grenade and press deeper to throw it, streamlining complex in-game actions into a single motion.

Available in both 75-key and 98-key layouts, the keyboard ships with nine Gateron KS-20 magnetic analogue switches and supports most popular analogue and 3-pin or 5-pin mechanical switches, giving keyboard enthusiasts extensive hardware flexibility.

Beyond gaming performance, Logitech G is also targeting the custom keyboard and modding community with several enthusiast-focused features. The G512 X includes dual assignable dials for custom controls, built-in storage compartments for switches and accessories, and a bold RGB lightbar with rhythmic lighting effects designed to enhance gaming setups visually.
For additional comfort during long gaming sessions, Logitech G is also offering an optional premium acrylic palm rest, available separately for both layouts.

The G512 X is available in both black and white colour options and is designed to complement Logitech G’s wider G5 Series ecosystem, including the G502 X Plus LIGHTSPEED wireless gaming mouse and the G522 LIGHTSPEED wireless gaming headset.

The G512 X Gaming Keyboard and its Palm Rest will be available from S$279 and S$59, respectively. For the G512 X Gaming Keyboard, it will be available across major offline retailers and the Logitech G Official Store on Lazada and Shopee.

For the Palm Rest, it will be available exclusively online through the Logitech G Official Store on Lazada and Shopee. With G512 X, Logitech G continues its heritage of performance-driven innovation.
