HP showcases the future of work at CES 2026 with AI PCs, Copilot-powered printing and a unified gaming vision

At CES 2026, HP is redefining what the future of work looks like, unveiling a wide-ranging portfolio of AI-powered PCs, smarter workplace solutions and a refreshed gaming ecosystem designed to put professional fulfilment at the centre of productivity.

Debuting at CES 2026, HP’s latest innovations reflect a growing belief that business growth and employee well-being are increasingly intertwined. With research showing that only one in five knowledge workers has a healthy relationship with work, HP is positioning AI as a tool not just for efficiency, but for empowerment.

Reimagining the AI PC for flexible work
Leading the announcements is the HP EliteBoard G1a, the world’s first full AI PC built entirely into a keyboard.

Compact, lightweight and portable, the EliteBoard G1a delivers local AI performance in a form factor designed to move wherever work happens. The device has also been recognised as a CES 2026 Innovation Award Honoree.

HP EliteBook X G2q AI PC

HP is also setting new benchmarks for on-device AI acceleration. The HP EliteBook X G2 Series and HP OmniBook Ultra 14, powered by Snapdragon® X2 Elite processors, are the world’s first commercial and consumer notebooks to offer up to 85 TOPS NPU performance. This enables multiple AI applications to run concurrently, supporting advanced workflows without relying solely on the cloud.

HP OmniBook Ultra 14 AI PC

Across its consumer lineup, HP has refreshed the entire OmniBook portfolio with Snapdragon® X2 platforms and OLED displays. The new HP OmniBook 3 16 stands out by delivering the world’s longest battery life in a 16-inch OLED consumer AI PC, reinforcing HP’s focus on endurance, mobility and visual quality.

Bringing AI to printing and IT management
Beyond PCs, HP is extending AI deeper into the workplace. For the first time, Microsoft Copilot is being integrated directly into HP Office Print devices. Through HP for Microsoft 365 Copilot, users can now summarise documents, translate content and organise files directly at the printer, turning a traditional output device into a productivity hub.

HP is also strengthening IT resilience with new firmware-level recovery capabilities in its Workforce Experience Platform (WXP). These enhancements allow IT teams to resolve critical device issues more quickly, even when systems fail to boot, helping organisations maintain continuity across increasingly distributed work environments.

A unified vision for gaming and personal creativity
When workday responsibilities end, HP is also reshaping how users play and create.

The company has unified its OMEN and HyperX brands under a single master gaming brand, HyperX, offering a more cohesive, end-to-end gaming ecosystem.

HyperX OMEN MAX 16

Headlining this push is the HyperX OMEN MAX 16, described as the world’s most powerful gaming laptop.

Featuring fully internal cooling, OMEN AI and a high-polling-rate keyboard, the laptop is engineered for sustained hyper-performance without the need for external cooling solutions.

Investing in the future of work
HP’s commitment extends beyond products. The Future of Work Accelerator returns in 2026 with expanded eligibility, opening applications to both non-profits and for-profits for the first time. Focused on AI and the future of work, the programme provides funding, hardware, training and mentorship to help organisations drive inclusive growth and skills development.

From AI PCs that adapt to new workstyles, to Copilot-powered printers and high-performance gaming machines, HP’s CES 2026 announcements underscore a broader ambition: to design technology that enables people to work smarter, feel more fulfilled and thrive in a rapidly changing world.
