Xiaomi 15T Series Unveiled: Leica Cameras Meet Next-Gen Connectivity

Xiaomi has officially introduced its latest flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi 15T Series, featuring the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro. Representing a major leap forward for the T lineup, these devices combine advanced mobile technology, cutting-edge photography, and a refined design built for style-conscious users.

Leica-Enhanced Imaging
At the core of the 15T Series is a triple-camera system co-engineered with Leica. The Xiaomi 15T includes a main, ultra-wide, and telephoto lens, while the 15T Pro upgrades the setup with a Leica 5x Pro telephoto camera.

The main 50MP Leica Summilux lens (ƒ/1.7 on 15T, ƒ/1.62 on Pro) ensures sharp detail, vibrant colour, and strong low-light performance. On the 15T Pro, a Light Fusion 900 sensor with 13.5 EV dynamic range further boosts clarity and tonal accuracy.

For focal flexibility, the 15T Pro spans from 15mm to 230mm, while the 15T covers a range of 15mm to 92mm. The Pro model also debuts Leica’s 5x Pro telephoto, supporting up to 20x Ultra Zoom. Both devices include a 32MP front camera for selfies and calls.

Computational Photography and Videography
Xiaomi’s AISP 2.0 platform enables enhanced image processing with PortraitLM 2.0 and ColorLM 2.0, delivering improved depth, tone, and lifelike colours.

New portrait features include customizable bokeh effects and Master Portrait modes.

Leica Street Photography Mode allows instant captures at focal lengths from 28mm up to 135mm (Pro exclusive).

For video creators, both phones deliver 4K HDR10+ recording at 30fps across all lenses. The Pro model steps up with 4K 120fps for cinematic slow-motion and 10-bit Log recording with LUT support for flexible editing.

Connectivity Breakthroughs and HyperOS 3.3
Xiaomi debuts Astral Communication with this series, including Offline Communication that enables direct voice calls between 15T devices without cellular or Wi-Fi—up to 1.9km on the Pro.

The Surge T1S Tuner and Super Antenna Array improve stability across GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular networks.

Both models launch with HyperOS 3.3, featuring a redesigned interface, faster multitasking, customizable lock screens, improved notifications, and system-level HyperAI for productivity and cross-device syncing.

Bigger, Brighter Displays
The series features Xiaomi’s largest display yet at 6.83 inches, delivering 1.5K resolution and up to 3200 nits peak brightness.

The 15T Pro offers ultra-thin 1.5mm bezels, a 144Hz refresh rate, DC dimming, and eye care protection. The standard 15T supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 3840Hz PWM dimming for reduced flicker in low light.

Performance and Endurance
Both phones are powered by a 5500mAh battery with long lifespan and fast charging: 90W wired + 50W wireless (15T Pro) and 67W wired (15T).

They retain 80% battery health after 1600 cycles. Under the hood, the 15T Pro runs MediaTek Dimensity 9400+, while the 15T uses Dimensity 8400-Ultra, each paired with advanced thermal control via the Xiaomi 3D IceLoop system for efficient heat dissipation.

Premium Design and Durability
The series sports a unified glass fibre back, flat frame, and sleek, rounded edges.

Both models feature Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, improved scratch resistance, and IP68 dust/water protection up to 3 meters.

The Pro uses a high-strength 6M13 aluminium alloy frame for extra durability. Colours include Black, Grey, and Mocha Gold (Pro), and Black, Grey, and Rose Gold (15T).

Pricing and Availability
The Xiaomi 15T Pro is priced at SGD 799 (12GB+256GB) and SGD 899 (12GB+512GB), while the Xiaomi 15T costs SGD 599 (12GB+256GB) and SGD 699 (12GB+512GB).
