In celebration of Singapore’s 60th birthday, SimplyGo Pte. Ltd has unveiled a commemorative lineup of EZ-Link cards and SimplyGo EZ-Link charms that pay tribute to the people, places, and everyday experiences close to Singaporeans’ hearts. Inspired by the SG60 theme “Building Our Singapore Together,” this launch intertwines heritage, imagination, and community pride to mark a meaningful national milestone.
More than just collectables, the designs celebrate Singaporean life from iconic hawker culture to nostalgic landmarks and national symbols like the Merlion. Through this initiative, SimplyGo reinforces its mission to connect people not just through transit, but through shared cultural identity and compassion.
Supporting Children with Cancer: A $50,000 Gift of Hope
A highlight of this SG60 campaign is SimplyGo’s partnership with the Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF).
As part of the celebration, SimplyGo has donated $50,000 to support Hair for Hope 2025, CCF’s flagship fundraiser for children and families affected by cancer. The initiative merges charitable giving with art and storytelling, reinforcing the campaign’s purpose-driven spirit.
A Commemorative Collection of Creativity and Culture
The SG60 collection features four distinctive series, each created in collaboration with beloved local artists and communities:
● Rainbow Unicorn EZ-Link Card
Created by six-year-old Antonela Iskandar, Chen Xuan Ni, a beneficiary of CCF, this whimsical design radiates childlike wonder. A colourful world of rainbows, clouds, and unicorns surrounds a joyful heart, symbolising imagination, resilience, and hope. It complements SimplyGo’s donation to CCF with a message of solidarity and compassion.
● Mochiak & AhWoo EZ-Link Charms
These nostalgic charms feature two beloved scenes: a heritage playground and a lively hawker centre. Celebrating childhood freedom and Singaporeans’ deep affection for local cuisine, they bring back memories while spotlighting our living heritage.
● Ah Guo Illustration – Kiddo’s SG60 Cards
Local artist Lee Kow Fong, known as Ah Guo, brings his warm, playful style to two card designs titled “A Little Salute: Beloved Mama Shop” and “A Little Salute: Sunny Merlion.” Featuring his character Kiddo, the cards reflect kampung spirit and celebrate everyday life in the heartlands and iconic locations alike.
● Mr Merlion EZ-Link Cards
This four-design series presents a charming rendition of Mr Merlion as he enjoys kaya toast, chilli crab, and lounges atop Marina Bay Sands. These illustrations blend national icons with playful modernity, celebrating both tradition and contemporary life.
Snap & Share with Mr Merlion
To further engage the community, SimplyGo is launching a “Snap & Share with Mr Merlion” social media contest. Participants are encouraged to showcase their SG60 cards creatively for a chance to win exclusive merchandise. Full contest details will be released via SimplyGo’s official social media platforms.
A Purpose-Driven Celebration
More than a product launch, the SG60 collection signals SimplyGo’s ongoing evolution as a brand that connects through culture and compassion. “SG60 is a time to reflect on what unites us as a nation,” said Mr Tan Kim Hong, CEO of SimplyGo Pte. Ltd. “Through these cards and charms, we celebrate the everyday icons and shared memories that define us, while extending help to those who need it most.”
CCF Deputy CEO Mr Koh Shukai echoed the sentiment: “This collaboration with SimplyGo celebrates the resilience and creativity of our children while supporting a vital cause. It represents the true spirit of community and compassion.”
