LG gram Pro 2in1 – Ultra-Slim AI 2-in-1

16″ OLED touch, 360° hinge, feather-light yet military-tested for pros.

I’ve been living with the LG gram Pro 2-in-1 16T90TP for a couple of weeks, and it nails the promise of a “no-compromise” convertible. At just 1,399 g and 12.4 mm thin, it’s among the lightest 16″ 2-in-1s you can carry. Yet despite the paper-thin profile, this thing feels rock-solid—LG puts it through MIL-STD-810H tests for shock, vibration and temperature so it can handle the real world without flinching.

Flip it into tent, tablet or stand mode via the snappy 360° hinge, and you’ve instantly got a digital canvas or presentation tool. The 16″ WQXGA+ OLED touchscreen (2880 × 1800) pops with deep blacks, 400 nit brightness and 100 % DCI-P3 coverage—and the included magnetic stylus snaps into place for precise inking in apps like OneNote or Clip Studio Paint. I loved sketching ideas right on the vibrant panel, and the 0.2 ms response makes it feel almost as natural as pen on paper.

Under the hood lives an AI-optimised Intel® Core™ Ultra7 255H processor paired with 32 GB LPDDR5X (dual-channel, 8400 MHz) and a 1 TB PCIe Gen4 SSD (dual-slot ready). In daily work—multiple Chrome tabs, Slack, Spotify and a virtual machine—all stayed snappy, and the dual-fan “Mega” cooling system kept thermals in check without getting noisy. I even ran light image-editing tasks in Lightroom and saw sustained performance, thanks to the thermal headroom.

On the software side, LG’s gram AI Hybrid platform blends on-device neural engines for offline tasks (like noise cancellation in video calls) with cloud-based AI for heavy-lifting—summarising documents, drafting quick emails or brainstorming bullet points in Windows Copilot, all without sacrificing privacy. Battery life hovered around 10–12 hours of mixed use on my test unit, which included streaming, video calls and occasional Photoshop, so you can easily last a workday away from the charger.

Ports include two USB4 Gen3×2 Type-C (DisplayPort, 100 W PD, Thunderbolt 4), a full-size HDMI 2.1 port, two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports and a 3.5 mm audio jack—plenty for most pros. Intel Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 round out connectivity, and the full-size backlit keyboard feels satisfyingly clicky in low light.

LG’s gram Pro 2-in-1 marries feather-light portability with pro-grade build and AI smarts—ideal for creators who need a sleek powerhouse on the move.

The LG gram Pro 2in1 16″ retails at $3499.
