Sennheiser has officially unveiled the BTD 700, a high-performance Bluetooth® dongle engineered to unlock the full potential of your wireless headphones and earbuds. Whether you’re deep in productivity or unwinding with entertainment, the BTD 700 offers premium aptX™ audio codec support, Auracast™ capabilities, and low-latency gaming all in one seamless plug-and-play solution.
Compact but Powerful
Weighing just 2.2 grams and measuring only 24mm in length, the BTD 700 is smaller than most USB flash drives, yet it packs impressive technology for streaming, gaming, and voice communication. With a single USB-C connection, it effortlessly boosts the wireless audio performance of laptops, smartphones, and tablets.
The package also includes a USB-C to USB-A adapter, ensuring compatibility with desktop workstations and older laptops.
“The BTD 700 makes high-performance wireless audio easy,” says Christian Ern, Sennheiser’s Senior Product Manager. “This all-in-one device delivers audio quality that rivals wired connections while adding modern Bluetooth features to PCs and mobile devices that may not support them natively.”
Hi-Fi Audio, Simplified
With support for aptX Lossless and aptX Adaptive codecs, the BTD 700 delivers high-definition wireless audio at up to 24-bit/96 kHz. Audiophiles can experience their favourite tracks in greater depth using aptX-enabled headphones, earbuds, and speakers.
Sennheiser’s popular MOMENTUM series and select models from the ACCENTUM line already support these high-resolution codecs, making them perfect companions for the dongle.
Truly Plug and Play
As a class-compliant audio device, the BTD 700 bypasses the default audio output of virtually any device, whether Android, iOS/iPadOS, Windows, or macOS, simply by plugging it in like a standard flash drive.
Thanks to Bluetooth 5.4, the dongle opens up a range of creative uses: launch a portable Auracast broadcast for an outdoor movie night, enjoy an album with pristine fidelity, or handle a full day of meetings with superior voice clarity using a comfortable pair of headphones like the Sennheiser MOMENTUM 4.
