Fujifilm Corporation has announced the launch of the high-end hybrid instant camera, Instax WIDE Evo, set to be released on February 4, 2025. Building on the success of the Instax mini Evo, this new model is compatible with WIDE format film, offering a double-card-sized print for a more immersive instant photography experience.
Innovative Features for Enhanced Creativity
The WIDE Evo comes packed with features designed to elevate instant photography. Users can preview shots on the built-in LCD monitor before selecting their favourites to print. Additionally, the camera functions as a smartphone printer, expanding its versatility.
Equipped with ten lens effects (such as “Magenta” and “Monochrome”) and ten film effects (including “Light Leak” and “Color Gradient”), the WIDE Evo allows users to mix and match these effects freely, creating up to 100 Shooting Effects. The camera also introduces a “degree control” function, a first in the Instax series, allowing users to finely adjust effects like light intensity and colour gradation across 100 levels for precise artistic expression.
Two new enhancements further enhance the appeal of WIDE format film:
● Film Style: Offers six framing options for more artistic Instax prints.
● Wide Angle Mode: Captures a broader perspective, making full use of the WIDE format film for dynamic shots.
The combination of these features results in 120,000 possible expressions, making every shot a potential masterpiece.

The WIDE Evo sports a luxurious black and metallic body, blending modern technology with a classic aesthetic.
The camera retains an analog-inspired interface, featuring dials for selecting effects and a Print Crank for a hands-on printing experience.
