Day 1 Highlights of HKTDC Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition)

It’s Day 1 of the HKTDC Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition). The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) kindly invited us to attend the Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) and electronicAsia from October 13-16, 2024, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Featuring around 3,200 international exhibitors from 19 countries, the fair will showcase smart products, electronic components, and innovative technological solutions across various sectors, including smart mobility and digital entertainment.

Today, our journalist, Han Yun, went to explore the various booths and carefully selected a list of new and upcoming technologies and electronics for our readers. Let’s check it out:

1. Potensic ATOM Drone Series

With the whole ATOM Drone series being under 250g, users do not need to register their drone with local authorities. With 3 different ATOM drone types, users of differing experiences can enjoy the fun of controlling a drone. The ATOM LT is built for beginners with the longest flight time of 40 minutes with a 2.5K camera equipped with ShakeVanish Stabilisation. Experienced users can choose to go for ATOM which has a longer 6KM transmission range, 3-axis Gimbal and 4K Video.

2. Kokoni EC2 Smart 3D Printer

By joining the capabilities of 3D printing and AI, Kokoni has crafted the EC2 3D printer meant for 3D enthusiasts and families alike. With a simple touch to their mobile app, you can either select from their ever-renewing 3D model gallery or simply take a photo, have the AI craft the 3D model and immediately kickstart the 3D printing process. There’s also an integrated 720p camera to capture the printing. With its compact size of 30.1cm x 18.9cm, it can be stored anywhere.

3. Hakii Boulder Microphone Speaker

For the adventurous, Hakii has designed a new clip-on wearable speaker, the Hakii Boulder. Users can conveniently clip it onto their vest or backpack to experience their favourite music while on the go. With its IPX7 waterproof rating, it can withstand rain while on the go. Bring it along to hikes or bike rides as it can last up to 7 hours.

4. Huion Kamvas Pro 19

With real colour, 99% sRGB 4K screen and equipped dual chip digital pens, draw effortlessly with the Huion Kamvas Pro 19. With PenTech 4.0 and 2 grip options – standard and slim, users can experience a huge boost in writing performance. This is in addition to the new Canvas Glass that provides a paper-like texture with anti-glare properties. Users can also draw delicately on the 16384 levels of pressure sensitivity.

5. SuperTooth Roamee Hands Free Kit for Cyclist

A first for cyclists, Supertooth has designed a specialised open-ear hands-free speakerphone for your helmet. With instant installation on any bicycle helmet, users can use Roamee to safely listen to music, call and answer phone calls and make intercom messages to 2 other users up to 300m away. With only 3 buttons to press, it’s great for casual or adventurous cyclists.

6. Andazzi Premium Wound Protection Cap

A fresh innovative method of wound protection has been introduced by Andazzi. With its unique patented anti-fogging APET dome shape design, patients with wound injuries can protect themselves from any unwanted objects touching, reducing infection risk. By offering 2 types of air holes, one for circulation and one for ointment application and a waterproof film, Andazzi has covered all grounds in protecting any wounds. It is also created with skin-friendly materials like sterilised PU film and PE foam pad.

7. MoMax Sense Active Smart Ring

With 21 years of experience building the latest power banks, MOMAX has entered the wearables industry by debuting their first smart rings – Sense and Sense Active. Designed for active users, the Sense and Sense Active smart rings offer key data and analysis to consumer’s health and fitness via their free app. Made with stainless steel and Microcrystalline Zirconium respectively, the MOMAX smart rings are built for all types of activities from swimming to yoga. The Sense Active ring is even waterproof up to 50m.

8. Himpel Huezentte 3 Bathroom Ventilator

With bathrooms being the easiest location to get unwanted humidity, mould and mildew, the Himpel Huezentte 3 is an easy solution to get rid of humidity. By installing the Himpel Huezentte 3 in bathrooms, you can expect quick ventilation as well as dehumidification. On top of that, the Himpel Huezentte 3 can be used to dry your hair and body with its built-in fan while creating a relaxing ambience with Bluetooth music. Now, bathrooms can also be a healing space.

9. SKG G7 Pro Fold Neck Massager

Neck strains are becoming more common as the public is constantly on their phones or working on their laptop. SKG has launched its G7 Pro Fold neck massager for users to bring on the go while being able to enjoy 5 types of massages with 4 levels of heating. With red light heat moxibustion therapy, users can experience relief on their necks after a long day.

10. ⁠Accutone Nexus 2 Wireless Speakerphone

Crafted for large corporate meeting rooms, the Accutone Nexus 2 is a dual speaker and microphone that has a 360-degree volume pickup and a 10-metre speaker radius. With its stackable ability, users can connect up to 5 Nexus 2s and have a projected radius of 50 metres. Conferences can now be held without the audience missing out on any content.

11. Wanbo X5 Pro Projector

The Wanbo X5 Pro is a newly upgraded smart projector featuring 1100 ANSI lumens and runs on Android 11 TV. This projector is designed to deliver bright and clear images, making it suitable for various viewing experiences. It offers a range of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, allowing users to easily stream content and connect to devices. The ASA 3.0 feature of autofocus, auto keystone correction, auto screen fit and obstacle avoidance greatly improves the user viewing experience.

12. Renpho Eyeris 3

With heavier use of screens on laptops, phones or TVs, eyes can easily get overwhelmed and tired. The Renpho Eyeris 3 is meant to relieve fatigue in the eyes and temples by using air compression massage combined with heat therapy of 40-42 degrees. To make the experience more relaxing, you can use Bluetooth for your favourite music while using their voice control function to customise your massage. It also comes with a removable cool gel pad that users can chill in the fridge and then use to alleviate eye strain.

13. Nakamichi Elite TWS700ANC

Winning the Electronics Industry Awards (EIA) 2024 for its innovative design, Nakamichi has crafted the ultimate audio experience with the Elite TWS700ANC. Users can freely switch between wired or wireless modes depending on preference while the unique coaxial-placed dual drivers will reproduce balanced sounds pleasing to the ears. The Elite TWS700ANC is also a durable piece with 8 hours of playback time and 120 hours with the charger case. The ANC combined with the environment noise suppression technology can also provide up to 40 dB of noise reduction.

14. Soul S-Play 2

Uniquely created for gamers on the go or at home, the Soul S-Play 2 has a dual low latency mode for its wireless audio connection. Users can experience powerful sounds and connect via the usual – Bluetooth which has 40ms latency or via the dongle which has 25ms latency. This connection also allows for multipoint connectivity with two devices. Soul is also aware of how long games can be and the S-Play 2 can last up to 24 hours with a single charge.

15. Mytrex HIHO Fine Bubble With EMS
