ASUS has set a new benchmark in the wearable tech industry with the announcement of the VivoWatch 6, a flagship smartwatch that takes health management to the next level. The VivoWatch 6 introduces cutting-edge features, including fingertip-based blood pressure and electrocardiogram (ECG) measurements, making it the first smartwatch in the world to offer such capabilities.
The watch boasts a 1.39-inch AMOLED Gorilla® Glass touchscreen with a brightness of 350 nits, ensuring clear visibility in any environment. Beyond its health-monitoring functions, the VivoWatch 6 offers Body Composition Analysis, Sleep Tracking, and a Relaxation Index, along with a unique Body Harmony Analysis for daily stress management.
With a lightweight design of just 60 grams, it’s comfortable to wear all day, and its dual-frequency GPS ensures precise tracking. Most impressively, the watch offers up to 14 days of battery life in Power-Saving mode, making it a reliable companion for health-conscious users.
Health at Your Fingertips
The ASUS VivoWatch 6 is designed for convenience, featuring medical-grade ECG and PPG sensors that allow users to take fingertip-based measurements. By simply placing their thumb and index finger on the watch face sensor, users can access critical health data such as blood pressure, body fat and skeletal muscle percentages, water content, and basal metabolic rate. The outer ring of the VivoWatch 6 features a bioelectrical impedance (BIA) sensor, ensuring accurate body composition analysis.
To further aid in stress management, the watch also tracks the balance of the autonomic nervous system and calculates a Relaxation Index based on heart rate variability (HRV), providing insight into short-term stress levels. For longer-term emotional wellness, the Body Harmony Analysis feature presents a simplified chart showing the wearer’s daily emotional status over the past week, helping users stay mindful of their mental health.
ASUS HealthConnect App
The ASUS HealthConnect app complements the VivoWatch 6, offering a user-friendly interface that provides users with a comprehensive view of their health parameters at a glance. The app includes the Care Track service, which allows family members to view the wearer’s real-time location and health status, making it an ideal feature for caregivers of elderly users.
