Establishing an eco friendly space with Acer’s new Vero launches

Acer has announced new products in its Vero range of eco-friendly devices: the Acer Aspire Vero 15 (AV15-53P) laptop, the Acer Vero PL3510ATV laser projector and the Acer Pro Vero Air Purifier. These products aim to provide high-performing, power-saving technology while reducing the carbon footprint. The latest Vero products integrate PCR plastic on their chassis and use recyclable packaging.

Powerful upgrades to Aspire Vero 15 to rival counterparts

The Aspire Vero 15 is powered by 13th Gen Intel® Core™ processors, with Intel® Iris® Xe graphics and uses post-consumer recycled plastics in its chassis. It features a 15-inch FHD IPS display, Acer VeroSense™ for battery management, and a 1440p QHD webcam with Acer PurifiedView™ and Acer PurifiedVoice™ collaboration technology.

The Aspire Vero 15 combines an eco-conscious design with performance features. It sports a 15.6-inch Full HD Display, 16:9 aspect ratio, and 100% sRGB. It is powered by up to 13th Gen Intel Core i7 processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics and helps users maximize productivity with key features such as real-world, fast-charging battery life, responsiveness, instant wake, and intelligent collaboration. The Aspire Vero 15 also comes with a 1440p QHD camera with Acer PurifiedView and PurifiedVoice technology. It has Wi-Fi 6E connectivity and a generous selection of ports, including two Thunderbolt™ 4/USB Type-C, two USB3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, DC in, and an audio jack port. The Aspire Vero 15 uses standardized screws to simplify repairs and recycling at the product’s end-of-life.

Reducing power consumption by 48% with reducing quality

The Acer Vero PL3510ATV projector is built with a Full HD resolution, 4,800 ANSI lumens diode, and a 30,000-hour lamp life. It saves up to 48% more energy than lamp-based projectors, reducing the carbon footprint and the total cost of ownership through an extended product lifespan.

The Acer Vero PL3510ATV projector combines the advanced laser-light projection and high energy efficiency in a portable device. It has Full HD resolution, a dynamic 4,800 ANSI lumens laser diode, and a contrast ratio of 50,000:1. It projects brilliant, crystal-clear images from long distances, even in bright indoor settings. The projector provides eight times less lighting decay and consumes 48% less power than traditional lamp-based projectors.

The mercury-free projector also incorporates 50% PCR plastic in the chassis to reduce harm to the environment. It supports 2D keystone and 4-corner correction technology, automatically adjusting projection to any viewing surface, and its lens shift feature lets you navigate the lens without having to move the device. The Acer Vero PL3510ATV projector also supports 24/7 continuous projection and is IP5X rated to keep its components protected in any environment.

The first of its kind to use PCR materials

In addition to the Vero line-up launches, Acerpure has announced the release of the Acerpure Pro Vero Air Purifier, the first air purifier to use post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials in the chassis.

The use of PCR materials has reduced CO2 emissions during production by 20%. The device comes with a PM2.5 air quality sensor that detects suspended particles indoors and has an energy-saving green mode that self-adjusts its purification power based on the surrounding conditions.

The device’s advanced 3-in-1+ HEPA filter can isolate bacteria and 99.9% of suspended PM2.5 particles and filter out harmful gases and allergens through its 4-layer protection system. The activated carbon cotton-infused filter also removes 99% of formaldehyde and other harmful substances.
