With this being my 3rd Sennheiser earbuds review that I am doing, I have noticed that they are consistently good at improving their technology and sound quality. Their Momentum True Wireless 3 truly raised the bar in bringing me closer to music. I love listening to music, in fact, I am on Spotify throughout the day. Check out my unboxing video below!
The past Momentum series have a more technical design. This time around, the Momentum True Wireless 3 has a more futuristic design. The contemporary, simple design of the Momentum True Wireless 3 provides optimum comfort. When I first put it on, I couldn’t help but notice how comfortable they were, and they stayed comfortable all day. These are Sennheiser’s smallest earbuds, with a battery life of 7 hours and a total of 28 hours with the case. Fun fact – they are 16% smaller than the previous version.
To test the sound, I listened to a diverse genres of music, such as Acoustic, EDM, Pop, and Lofi beats. For EDM and Pop songs, the strong bass was brought out by the earbuds. To ensure minimal distortion, Sennheiser uses a 7mm dynamic speaker system with their extra wide-band TrueResponse transducer technology.
For Acoustic and Lofi beats, crisp, natural mids and treble are distinctly brought out. The aptX Adaptive codec support for high-resolution wireless audio flawlessly transmits this unmatched high-fidelity sound. Additionally, as I prefer my basses to be deeper, I can customise the sound through the Smart Control App. It provides preset options and an equaliser feature so I can customise the sound to my preferences. The user-friendly touch interface of MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 can be customised for audio playback.
Other than the sound quality, we cannot do without Adaptive Noise Cancelling in our earbuds. With the Momentum True Wireless 3, their next-generation hybrid-adaptive ANC smoothly adapts to any setting, no matter how busy or noisy my surroundings are. Even while I am working in cafes, I could fully focus – on my work and on the music. Meetings outside can be less conducive due to background noises, but with these earbuds, four microphones are used to continuously monitor the level of background noise and automatically adjust the noise cancellation performance. Transparency mode allows me to engage in conversation without removing my earbuds. It also supports wireless charging and is IPX4 splash resistant.
