LG Electronics (LG) UltraGear gaming monitors (models 27GP950 and 27GP850) are the first in the world to get the Video Electronics Standards Association’s (VESA) AdaptiveSync Display certification (VESA). Consumers can quickly recognize and compare the variable refresh rate (VRR) performance of gaming displays that support VESA’s Adaptive-Sync protocol with the new VESA AdaptiveSync Display badge.
The two UltraGear gaming monitors fulfilled or above the test scores defined in VESA’s new open standard, with high refresh rates, rapid Gray-to-Gray (GTG) reaction times, and low latency. The two 27-inch gaming monitors have innovative LG Nano IPS panels with high refresh rates and a 1 millisecond GTG response time for both PC and console games, allowing fluid gameplay and clear, clean visuals.
The VESA Adaptive-Sync Display CTS establishes a clear and uniform standard for gaming monitor display performance, allowing consumers to make more educated purchasing decisions. They hope to match the demands and diversified needs of today’s consumers.
