Samsung Electronics announced the global launch of its next-generation curved gaming monitor, the long-awaited Odyssey Neo G9, enhanced with Quantum Mini LED technology.
Quantum Matrix Technology
Harnessing enhanced 12-bit gradation, Quantum Mini LEDs can further darken and brighten areas with 2,048 dimming zones to provide better contrast. Meanwhile, Quantum HDR 2000 offers a peak brightness of 2,000 nits certified by VDE (Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker), alongside a static contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. These features enable greater control of light source, providing unparalleled contrast and image details.
High refresh rate and wider display
The ultra-wide 49-inch display with a 32:9 aspect ratio offers Dual Quad High-Definition with a rapid, 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, offering dynamic and seamless action scene-by-scene gameplay experience.
Eye Comfort certification by TÜV Rheinland
Users can now be assured of maximum eye comfort even after prolonged usage as the 1000R curvature of the monitor was awarded the Eye Comfort certificate by the leading international certification organisation.
The Odyssey Neo G9 will be available in September at S$3,399. The monitor will be available for pre-order at Samsung Online Store, major consumer electronics and IT stores, and Samsung Official Stores in Lazada and Shopee from now to 15 August, and customers will receive a Samsung portable SSD T7 Touch 1TB as a complimentary gift (worth S$239).
