LG Rolls Out 48-Inch Gaming OLED TV

Arriving in Singapore, the LG 48-inch OLED TV is an all new addition to LG’s current OLED line up of 55, 65 and 77-inch models. Catering to customers who prefer mid-sized TVs or those who are looking to upgrade their gaming set-up, LG’s 48-inch addition provides the same 4K Ultra HD OLED quality with a smaller size.

The LG OLED 48CX boasts perfect blacks and infinite contrast thanks to self-illuminating pixels and unbeatable picture quality from the LG OLED display technology. This screen displays more vivid and sharper 4K picture quality due to its significantly higher pixel density of 8 million pixels on a more compact screen with the density comparable with that of a 96-inch 8K TV. Users can expect an upgraded viewing experience with the 4K UHD resolution on a 48-inch OLED screen.

The LG OLED 48CX is also ideal for serious gamers as it combines superior picture quality with outstanding gaming features. The LG OLED TV lineup is NVIDIA GSYNC Compatible which means that graphics are perfectly rendered, allowing for an immersive gaming experience. LG’s self-emissive OLED technology employs precise individual pixel control that produces exceptional picture quality, low input lag and ultra-fast response.

On top of this, the 48-inch CX OLED TV supports a variety of popular HDR formats such as dynamic HDR10 and Dolby Vision at up to 120 frames per second for 4K UHD content, taking advantage of advanced HDMI specifications such as auto low latency mode (ALLM), enhanced audio return channel (eARC) and variable refresh rate (VRR). LG’s 2020 OLED TVs support HDMI VRR, making them compatible with a wide variety of gaming devices such as graphics cards and consoles. The 2020 LG OLED TVs also has the HDR Gaming Interest Group’s (HGiG) HDR gaming profile allowing gamers to enjoy top quality graphics while playing HDR games via consoles.

If this isn’t convincing enough, the LG OLED X also incorporates support for Dolby Atmos® and LG’s deep learning-based AI Acoustic Tuning, which understands the acoustic environment and adjusts sound for greater accuracy. The TV is also BT Surround ready, enabling two LG Bluetooth speakers to be connected simultaneously, up-mixing 2.0 channel sound to virtual 4.0 surround sound for more immersion in favorite games
