Most of us must be feeling pretty bored at home given the mandatory Circuit Breaker that the government passed off in Singapore, where we are not to leave homes unless we need to do something essential. Thankfully, I have both the Huawei P40 Pro and Apple iPhone 11 to keep me occupied! During this time of crisis, phones are especially important for entertainment and keeping in contact with my friends. Stay tuned till the end of this article to watch a video I made showing you 3 things I do at home with my phones 😊.
Virtual Gatherings with Friends
Video calling has become something that my friends and I have to do every day, since we cannot meet each other physically. This Circuit Breaker period also gives me a chance for me to reconnect and rekindle friendships with old friends, since we have more time at home. My friends and I catch up on our daily lives and, more importantly, we also keep each other in check about our exercise regimes as it is so easy to procrastinate at home. The big screen of the P40 Pro allows me to have a good view of all my friends when we do a group call, and the video quality is clear. The iPhone 11 has a smaller screen and it is a little harder to see the details on the video call, but overall video quality is good. Both phones connected to the internet well and there was minimal lagging. Read till the end to watch the video of me talking to my friends on the P40 Pro and iPhone 11!
Time Flies with Mobile Games
Other than talking to my friends and studying, I enjoy spending my time on mobile games. My favorite game on the P40 Pro is Crash Cars 3D., and Mobile Legends on the iPhone 11. The game on the P40 Pro is easier to maneuver as the control buttons are bigger. The iPhone 11 game has very high resolution and consists of heavy visuals, but it was showcased very well on the phone. Both have games that can last 20 to 30 minutes, hence it is very easy to pass time at home!
In-built Video Streaming Applications
The Huawei P40 Pro has Video, an in-built video streaming app, while the iPhone 11 has Apple TV. Both applications have a very large collection of videos and new releases. Personally, I feel that Huawei’s Video app is more personalized with dramas that are recommended for me, as well as many free channels that users get to enjoy. Apple TV features a lot more of Western movies, which I appreciate when I am itching to watch a chick-flick with my sister. Watching dramas and movies has also been a great way to pass time. I can even talk to my friends in our calls on the same dramas and movies that we’re watching, and it’s another topic that we can bond over 😊.
Having the Huawei P40 Pro and iPhone 11 to accompany me on my Circuit Breaker journey has brought nothing but joy and entertainment. Staying at home taught me to appreciate what I have outside a lot more and, of course, the importance of communication.
