Samsung Electronics has unveiled the new Galaxy A08, bringing upgraded performance, long-lasting battery life, enhanced durability and core AI-powered experiences to its latest everyday smartphone.
Designed for a range of daily activities, from streaming and browsing to capturing photos and completing tasks, the Galaxy A08 combines a selection of practical upgrades with the familiar Galaxy experience.

Galaxy A08 Designed for Everyday Performance
The Galaxy A08 is built around the essentials, with a focus on reliable everyday performance and extended battery life.
At its core is the Helio G99+ processor, paired with upgraded LPDDR5 memory to support smoother everyday usage while helping manage power consumption. The smartphone also supports RAM Plus, giving users additional flexibility depending on their usage requirements.
Powering the device is a large 6,000mAh battery, designed to keep users connected and entertained for longer. Whether streaming videos, browsing social media or keeping in touch with friends and family, the battery is designed to provide enough power to get through more of the day without constantly reaching for a charger.
For photography, the Galaxy A08 features a 50MP autofocus main camera, supported by a 2MP depth camera. An 8MP front-facing camera is also included for selfies and video calls, giving users the core camera features needed to capture and share everyday moments.
AI Features for Search and Everyday Tasks
The Galaxy A08 also brings a selection of AI-powered features designed to make searching for information and completing everyday tasks more intuitive.
With enhanced Circle to Search, users can circle or tap content displayed on their screen to search for information without having to manually type a query or switch between applications.
A new Find the Look feature allows users to search for an entire outfit, while the device can also identify music playing nearby.
The Galaxy A08 further introduces support for multiple AI agents, enabling users to move more seamlessly between supported Galaxy native applications, Google apps and selected third-party applications.
Through voice commands or a long press, users can ask Gemini or Perplexity to activate supported applications, allowing certain tasks to be completed more naturally across different services.
Built for Long-Term Reliability
Beyond performance and AI features, Samsung has designed the Galaxy A08 with long-term reliability in mind.
The smartphone carries an IP64 rating, offering protection against dust and water splashes to provide added durability for everyday use.
Samsung is also supporting the Galaxy A08 with up to six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
This gives users a longer period of software and security support as they continue using the device.
Security is further handled by Samsung Knox, with the Galaxy A08 featuring Knox Vault for hardware-based protection of sensitive information.
The dedicated security environment is designed to help protect private data, providing additional security as users increasingly rely on their smartphones to manage personal information and everyday activities.
Pricing and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy A08 is available in Dark Blue, Silver and Green, with a 4GB+128GB configuration priced at S$278.
The smartphone is available from Samsung Experience Stores, Samsung Official Stores on Lazada, Shopee and TikTok, iShopChangi, as well as major Consumer Electronics & IT stores.
It will subsequently be available through the Samsung Online Store and Samsung Shop App from 9 October 2026.
