Huawei unveiled their third generation truly wireless stereo earbuds, the Huawei FreeBuds 3. When I first opened the case, I was blown away by its aesthetics. It was sleek and white, with a circular casing that fit comfortably in my palm and bag. I have always had simpler tastes, so I really loved the clean white colour of these earbuds.
Studio Quality Sounds
There was no hassle in connecting my earbuds to my phone at all. Huawei’s own isochronous dual channel Bluetooth allows us to bring true stereo sound to wireless earbuds, connecting to both buds simultaneously yet independently.
The earbuds had a very comfortable fit, with their ergonomic rounded curve and natural open fit design. Due to the current COVID-19 situation, school lectures were mostly shifted online. I used it to watch my online lectures for hours at a time and surprisingly felt no discomfort compared to previous brands of true wireless earbuds that I have used before! The battery life was also impressive – it could play up to 20 hours with the charging case.
The Huawei freebuds 3 are also the first Open-fit true wireless earbuds that both support call noise reduction and accurate real-time active noise cancellation. While using these and studying on-the-go, I was not distracted by the noise around me and could fully concentrate on my studies. While travelling from place to place, I was also able to rest comfortably due to the noise cancelling function of the earbuds.
Overall, I had a very pleasant first experience with these earbuds. I loved their sleek and clean design and would recommend this to my peers, especially those with Huawei phones!
