Acer has expanded its thin-and-light laptop lineup with two new Windows 11 machines designed for users who want portability without giving up performance or display quality.
The new Acer Swift Blade 14 weighs just 799 g, making it one of the company’s lightest laptops, while the larger Swift Air 16 offers a more spacious 16-inch display in an all-aluminium chassis.
Both models are powered by Intel Core Series 3 processors and offer OLED display configurations for users looking for sharper visuals and wider colour coverage.
Acer Swift Blade 14: Just 799 g for On-the-Go Productivity
The Acer Swift Blade 14 (SFB14-53CF) is built around portability, measuring as thin as 12.9 mm and weighing just 799 g.
Despite its compact footprint, the 14-inch laptop can be configured with up to an Intel Core 7 processor 350, alongside 12 GB of LPDDR5 memory and up to 1 TB of storage. This gives it enough hardware for everyday productivity, entertainment and creative workloads while keeping the overall design highly portable.
For users who spend plenty of time working with photos, video and other visual content, the Swift Blade 14 offers up to a 3K OLED display with up to 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut.
The display also features a 90% screen-to-body ratio, slim 4.3 mm bezels and a 16:10 aspect ratio, providing more usable screen space without significantly increasing the laptop’s footprint.
The Swift Blade 14 packs a 50 Wh battery and three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports for connectivity. It also comes with a Full HD user-facing camera equipped with a physical camera switch.
Acer has used a combination of magnesium-aluminium alloy and carbon fibre for the chassis, with the laptop available in Marshmallow Blue and Marshmallow White.
Acer Swift Air 16 Brings a Larger Screen
For users who prefer a larger display, the Acer Swift Air 16 (SFA16-I31T / SFA16-I31) offers a 16-inch form factor while maintaining a relatively portable design.
The laptop measures as thin as 13.3 mm and weighs 1.5 kg, with an all-aluminium chassis available in Elemental Blue, Sage Green or Sandstone Gold.
Power comes from up to an Intel Core 7 processor 350, offering up to 40 platform TOPS and a dedicated NPU for AI workloads. It can be configured with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x memory and up to 512 GB of upgradable storage.
The Swift Air 16 is equipped with a 70 Wh battery, which supports fast charging to 50% in around 30 minutes when using a 100W adapter.
For display options, users can choose between an OLED panel with 100% DCI-P3 coverage or an IPS panel with 100% sRGB coverage. Both options use a 16:10 aspect ratio and can reach WQXGA+ resolution of 2880 x 1800, while selected configurations offer up to 500 nits of brightness and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
The IPS touchscreen configuration also supports multi-touch, giving users another way to interact with the laptop.
Audio is handled by a quad-speaker system with DTS Virtual, designed to provide a more immersive 3D spatial audio experience for entertainment and other content.
For connectivity, the Swift Air 16 includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports for high-speed data transfers and peripheral connectivity.
Swift Air 14 Already Available
Acer also notes that the Swift Air 14, the smaller member of the Swift Air family, was first introduced at Computex 2026 and is now available in several countries.
Availability
The Acer Swift Blade 14 will be available in EMEA from December 2026.
The Acer Swift Air 16 will launch in North America in Q1 2027, followed by availability in EMEA from December 2026.
