As hybrid work becomes a permanent part of the workplace, Dell Technologies is looking to simplify one of the most common corporate spaces: the huddle room. The company has introduced the Dell Pro P 43 4K Huddle Conferencing Monitor (P4326QEB), an all-in-one conferencing display designed for meeting rooms accommodating up to six people.
Rather than requiring organisations to install separate displays, webcams, microphones and speakers, the P4326QEB integrates them into a single 43-inch monitor. It also promises an easier setup through a single USB-C connection and comes certified for Zoom Rooms.
The concept addresses a sizeable gap in workplace technology. Citing 2024 research from Frost & Sullivan, Dell notes that around 64% of meeting rooms are huddle spaces, yet approximately 93% still lack integrated video conferencing capabilities.
Everything Needed for a Hybrid Meeting
Central to the P4326QEB is its 43-inch 4K IPS display, providing the screen space and resolution needed to clearly see remote participants and shared content.
Integrated above the display is a Sony STARVIS 8MP 4K HDR camera with a wide 120-degree diagonal field of view, allowing it to capture multiple participants seated within the relatively confined dimensions of a huddle room.
AI group framing automatically adjusts the composition as people enter, leave or move around the room, reducing the need to manually reposition the camera. Dell has also included 3D noise reduction to maintain clearer images when lighting conditions are less than ideal.
For privacy-conscious workplaces, a mechanical privacy shutter provides a physical way to block the camera when it isn’t being used.
Audio is similarly integrated. Four omnidirectional beamforming microphones use AI noise cancellation to help suppress distracting background sounds, while a pair of front-firing 8W speakers directs audio towards participants in the room.
One USB-C Cable Does the Heavy Lifting
Perhaps the biggest convenience comes from the monitor’s single-cable approach.
Connecting a compatible laptop through USB-C provides up to 100W of power delivery while simultaneously carrying video, audio and data. This allows someone to enter the room, connect their laptop and begin collaborating without dealing with multiple cables and separate conferencing peripherals.
Dell includes a three-metre USB-C cable, providing additional flexibility for typical meeting-room layouts and making it easier to pass the connection between participants.
The simplified setup also has advantages for IT departments. With fewer individual components and cables to deploy and troubleshoot, organisations can potentially create a more standardised conferencing experience across multiple meeting spaces.
Connectivity isn’t limited to USB-C either. The P4326QEB includes HDMI 2.1, two downstream USB-A ports, a USB-B upstream port and built-in RJ45 Ethernet supporting speeds of up to 1Gbps.
Designed to Fit Different Huddle Spaces
Not every small meeting room has the same layout, so Dell has also provided several installation options.
The supplied stand supports height, tilt and swivel adjustments, while VESA compatibility allows the monitor to be mounted on a wall or monitor arm. This makes it possible for organisations to adapt the same conferencing system to different room configurations.
The Zoom Rooms certification further supports Dell’s focus on straightforward enterprise deployment, providing organisations already using the platform with a certified conferencing solution straight out of the box.
Sustainability Built Into the Design
Dell has also incorporated recycled materials into the P4326QEB. According to the company, the monitor uses up to 95% post-consumer recycled plastic, 100% recycled aluminium, 80% recycled steel and 20% recycled glass.
It also carries a range of environmental and energy-efficiency certifications, including EPEAT Gold, EPEAT Climate+, Energy Star 8.0 and TCO Edge.
