Sennheiser’s latest addition to the 600-series family, the HD 660S2, offers an improved listening experience for audiophiles seeking both reference-level detail and engaging frequency response. Responding to feedback from the hi-fi community, Sennheiser has crafted a headphone that balances warm bass characteristics with silky-smooth treble performance, resulting in a refined listening experience across the entire frequency spectrum.
The updated acoustics deliver dramatic flair and depth to low-frequency passages while reducing the distances between select peaks and troughs. The new headphone features improved transducer airflow and a refined voice coil, resulting in hyper-realistic textures and smoother, warmer audio reproduction.
The HD 660S2 is designed for extended musical exploration, with plush earpads and cushy headband padding for a comfortable fit during long listening sessions. The headphone ships with two 1.8m user-detachable cables, and 6.3 mm and 4.4 mm jack plugs, making it versatile enough to connect to vintage classics and modern solutions alike. Plus, a 6.3 mm to 3.5 mm adapter, to use with popular hi-fi gear from DAC-amps, DAPs, and dedicated amplifiers such as the Sennheiser HDV 820.
Distinguished bronze accents with an elegant jet-black finish, the Sennheiser HD 660S2 will be available at the Sennheiser Consumer Hearing website and authorized retailers for MYR2976 starting from March 24, 2023.
