Review: Lenovo ThinkStation P620 is a Professional Workstation

Lenovo P620 with NVIDIA Quadro RTX 8000 is an all-powerful PC for all tasks

The Lenovo ThinkStation P620 packs up to two NVIDIA Quadro RTX 8000 GPUs. And despite its size, you’d be surprised by its power. It is around 17 inches long and 18 inches tall, and it’s smaller than a standard PC case.

On paper, we learnt that it will work with older components like GPUs, network cards, and storage devices. For greater flexibility and better usability, it has six PCIe 4.0 slots. On the front panel, you get a honeycomb grate for air intake. The front also provides good connectivity, featuring four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and an audio combo jack. The rear-facing port selection includes headphone, line-in, and line-out jacks, a pair of legacy PS/2 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports. You also get one 10Gb Ethernet port or get an upgrade for onboard Wi-Fi.

Purpose-built with the speed and configurability you crave, this powerhouse is built with NVIDIA Quadro RTX graphics support. Ideal for power users in media and entertainment, AEC, oil & gas, finance, and beyond, the ThinkStation P620 provides the ground-breaking performance you need to blaze your own trail.

You’d be pleased to know that Lenovo uses a twin-tower air cooler to keep things cool. You can be sure that your internal components won’t get hot when handling heavy tasks like video editing or gaming.

Overall, the Lenovo ThinkStation P620 is an all-powerful PC for all tasks. It offers some of the most parts PC fans will love. Plus its tool-free chassis and efficient power can make this an upgrade that can last for years.

Rating: 4.5
