Hi everyone! Han Yun here. This time around, we have a product comparison of the Sennheiser Momentum In-Ear True Wireless 2 Headphones against its predecessor, the True Wireless 1. I summarised the main differences via a video of me showing the two products side by side. I will also be going into detail regarding my experience with these headphones, as well as other features to take note.
What so different?
As mentioned in the video, the three outstanding features are the reduction in size, increased battery life, and active noise cancellation.
Reduction in size

The True Wireless 2’s reduction of 2mm has the earbuds fit better and for longer hours. When using the True Wireless 1, fatigue sets in after a period of time with your ears feeling heavy with a slight ache. Personally, I did not experience much fatigue when using the True Wireless 2 and wore it for longer hours. It is important to note that Seinnheiser is taking feedback from consumers for their products and actively improving them.
Increased Battery Life
With the doubling up of battery life from its predecessor, you would get 7 hours of listening time with 3 charges from the casing. This is a stark improvement from the 4 hours of listening time from the True Wireless 1. This is especially important for those who use their earbuds for long periods of time like studying or working. During breaks, one would also be able to recharge and keep listening for a much longer time later.
Active Noise Cancellation
The True Wireless 2 has excellent noise isolation. When full noise cancellation would not be safe (for example, when used for outdoor activities like running), Sennheiser has added a Transparent Hearing feature that allows ambient sound to blend in should the listener require it.
On top of these features, the True Wireless 2 has the IPX 4 rating making it water-resistant to most activities excluding the most demanding ones.
