Celebrating its 16th year since its first instalment, photo enthusiasts gathered for this year’s Canon PhotoMarathon XVI 2018. Held at Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre, the region’s largest annual photo competition challenges photography enthusiasts to push their boundaries in photography skills – all under time pressure.

This year, Canon introduced a new ‘dusk’ challenge in the competition for the first time ever. This requires participants to capture a dynamic mix of both day and night scenes, putting their photography skills and creativity to the test.

Of course, being the official lifestyle tech media for this event, NXT was there as well with a super fun booth. As usual, we had lots of photo-opportunities for fans, with our beautiful Angels. We also held a competition where you had to make three different poses and take a photo – A funny face, a superhero pose, or strike a pose like a model. Participants had to put their photo up on social media with the hashtag #nxtsg, and the person with the most likes walked away with one year free subscription of NXT!
