The Electricianz Launch at Watch Wonderland

We were at the launch of the Swiss brand, The Electricianz, at the newly opened Watch Wonderland at Suntec City. The Electricianz carries four models that cater to those in search of affordable yet luxurious designs that are innovative and offbeat, featuring a variety of finishes including nylon or carbon fibre.

They are fashionable and well-built, and the designs stand up to more expensive watches. This is thanks to the Swiss design studio, Studio Divine, also known for their work for SevenFriday.

The Electricianz celebrates the transmission of electricity and incorporates elements such as the battery, the conductor and the electric stepping motor into a visual spectacle.

Founder and Chief Electricianz Officer, Laurent Rufenacht, explained that the design language is reminiscent of childhood where we were curious and wanted to uncover how things work. Therefore, the mechanism of the watch is exposed, revealing wires and bolts.
