LG Electronics has introduced its latest premium LCD television lineup, the 2026 LG Micro RGB evo AI and LG Mini RGB evo AI, bringing a new level of colour accuracy, AI-powered picture enhancement, and immersive entertainment experiences to consumers worldwide.
Building on over a decade of OLED innovation, LG’s newest TVs are engineered to deliver highly accurate, lifelike colour reproduction. Both series have earned TÜV Rheinland’s High Purity RGB Spectrum Display certification, validating their ability to reproduce red, green, and blue spectra with high fidelity for clearer, more natural images. Powered by advanced AI processors derived from LG’s OLED TV expertise, the new models intelligently optimise colour, contrast, and detail to create a more refined viewing experience.
Micro RGB evo Sets a New Standard for Premium LCD TVs
Leading the lineup is the flagship LG Micro RGB evo AI (MRGB95), which showcases LG’s proprietary Micro RGB technology and delivers the company’s highest level of colour purity to date. Recognised with a CES 2026 Innovation Award, the model achieves Intertek’s Triple 100 Percent Color Coverage certification across the BT.2020, DCI-P3, and Adobe RGB colour spaces, ensuring exceptional accuracy for broadcast, cinematic, and creative content.

At its core is the powerful α11 AI Processor Gen3, the same premium processor featured in LG’s latest OLED TVs. Equipped with a Dual AI Engine, the processor simultaneously analyses texture, sharpness, and image details to create a more cohesive and realistic picture. Technologies such as Precision Colour Enhancer preserve the purity of primary colours while delivering smoother gradients and natural transitions, while Micro Dimming Ultra precisely controls brightness across thousands of zones to enhance contrast and reveal details in both bright and dark scenes.
Available in sizes up to 100 inches, the Micro RGB evo is designed to deliver a truly cinematic big-screen experience.
Mini RGB evo Expands High-Purity RGB Technology.
LG is also bringing its advanced colour innovations to a broader audience through the Mini RGB evo lineup. Utilising a proprietary Tandem LED structure that stacks multiple RGB colour layers, Mini RGB evo TVs maintain impressive colour clarity and consistency across a wide range of content.

The MRGB9M and MRGB85 models achieve Intertek’s Double 100 Percent Color Coverage certification across the DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB colour spaces, offering significantly improved colour performance compared to conventional LED televisions.

Powered by the Alpha 8 AI Processor Gen3, which features enhanced neural processing capabilities, the Mini RGB evo series intelligently analyses and optimises picture quality in real time. Combined with Precision Dimming technology, the TVs deliver sharper details, improved contrast, and a more immersive viewing experience.
The MRGB9M model also features TÜV Rheinland-certified wireless connectivity for visually lossless 4K picture transmission, providing greater installation flexibility without compromising image quality.
Enhanced Entertainment and Gaming Experiences
LG’s latest RGB evo TVs are designed to excel across movies, sports, and gaming. Support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos ensures stunning visuals and immersive sound, while compatibility with LG Sound Suite AI and Dolby Atmos FlexConnect enables a flexible wireless surround sound setup without the need for complicated speaker placement or calibration.
For gamers, LG introduces Motion Booster 330, supporting refresh rates of up to 330Hz for exceptionally smooth motion and enhanced clarity during fast-paced gameplay. Additional gaming features include Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and AMD FreeSync Premium, which help minimise screen tearing and input lag.

LG also claims that its Micro RGB evo and Mini RGB evo models are the world’s first LCD TVs to support 4K 120Hz HDR cloud gaming through GeForce NOW, allowing users to enjoy low-latency gaming experiences without requiring a dedicated gaming PC or console.
Smarter AI Features and Enhanced Privacy
The new TVs run on LG’s webOS 26 Smart AI TV platform, offering a personalised experience powered by artificial intelligence. Features such as AI Voice ID can recognise individual users and customise the home screen accordingly, while Multi-AI integration combines the capabilities of Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot to answer questions and provide tailored assistance through voice commands.

The AI Concierge further enhances usability by recommending relevant content and features based on viewing habits and on-screen activity.
Users can access these AI capabilities through the redesigned AI Magic Remote, which includes motion controls, point-and-click navigation, and a dedicated AI button. Voice interaction is supported in 24 languages, enabling quick access to personalised settings and content.

To ensure security and privacy, LG has equipped the new TVs with LG Shield, a comprehensive protection platform that uses advanced encryption technologies to safeguard user data and secure the webOS ecosystem. The cybersecurity-focused technology was also recognised as a CES 2026 Innovation Award Honoree.
