Ressence introduces the TYPE 1 Round Rose Gold, a limited-edition evolution of its signature crownless design. Unveiled during Dubai Watch Week 2025, this new reference brings the warmth of 4N rose gold to the essentialist language of the TYPE 1°, offering collectors a refined and contemporary expression of Ressence’s distinctive philosophy.
Limited to just 70 pieces worldwide, the TYPE 1 Round Rose Gold pairs a rose-gold-plated convex dial with a sunray finish, intricate guilloché discs and a finely sandblasted case profile. The result is a watch that feels emotionally rich yet visually restrained, adding depth and warmth to one of the brand’s most recognisable designs without compromising its clarity or balance.
Since its debut in 2014, the TYPE 1° has defined Ressence’s approach to modern watchmaking through an intuitive, crownless interface and a radically different way of displaying time. In this rose-gold interpretation, the organic curves of the convex dial are subtly enhanced by the warm metallic tone, while the overall design remains clean, legible and unmistakably Ressence.
The dial features engraved indications filled with Grade A Super-LumiNova®, ensuring excellent readability in low light. Three inclined guilloché sub-discs display the hours, seconds and weekday, creating a sense of depth and motion across the dial surface. Cool silver counters and crisp white minute markings provide contrast, keeping the display precise and easy to read despite its unconventional layout.
At the heart of the watch is Ressence’s patented ROCS 1.3, the Ressence Orbital Convex System.
