HONOR, a global leader in AI device ecosystems, has officially launched the HONOR Magic8 Series in China, introducing its first Self-Evolving AI Smartphone.
At the forefront is the HONOR Magic8 Pro, packed with the latest YOYO Agent innovations, breakthrough AI camera capabilities, and industry-leading performance designed to redefine the flagship experience in the AI era.

The Magic8 Series is built around HONOR’s Self-Evolving AI concept, enhancing three key areas: hardware performance, system interaction, and the application ecosystem. At the heart of this innovation is the YOYO Agent, capable of automatically executing tasks across over 3,000 scenarios.
From simple routines like “delete blurry screenshots” to complex workflows like “summarise this week’s expenses and email them,” YOYO can handle operations in context, freeing users from repetitive tasks.
A new AI Button makes accessing YOYO easier than ever. Long-pressing activates YOYO Video Call, instantly analysing the content in view, while a double-click opens the camera shutter. Users can also customise the button for quick access to preferred functions. Additionally, YOYO Memories securely builds a personal knowledge base with end-to-end privacy, intelligently analysing photos, chats, and documents to provide meaningful insights.

HONOR’s AiMAGE Camera System sets a new benchmark in smartphone imaging. The Magic8 Pro debuts a 200MP Ultra Night Telephoto Camera with a large 1/1.4-inch sensor and f/2.6 aperture, capturing sharper details even at long range.
AI anti-shake technology increases the chance of clear zoomed images by seven times without a tripod, while AI Adaptive Stabilisation delivers the industry’s most stable CIPA 5.5-level performance.
The series also introduces Magic Colour, the world’s first AI-powered colour engine. Using deep learning, it identifies 16.77 million colours and applies device-cloud collaborative colour processing for cinematic visuals, professional film tones, and personalised templates—simplifying the colour grading process for users.

Under the hood, the Magic8 Series is powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform, featuring GPU-NPU heterogeneous AI super-resolution and frame-generation. This transforms low-resolution gameplay into high-resolution, high-frame-rate experiences, enabling open-world titles to run at 120fps at 1080p.
The Magic8 Pro houses a 7,200mAh silicon-carbon battery with AI-assisted power management across three HONOR E2 chips, delivering long-lasting performance. With 120W wired and 80W wireless HONOR SuperCharge, users enjoy rapid recharging alongside all-day endurance.
Seamless Ecosystem and Premium Experience
MagicOS 10 enables a unified, cross-platform experience, supporting Android, HarmonyOS, iOS, and Windows. Its translucent visual design emphasises clarity, lightness, and readability, with dynamic colour adjustment and customizable transparency for optimal user comfort.
The Magic8 Series also meets SGS-certified standards for 10x drop resistance and IP68/69/69K protection, ensuring durability in any environment.

The HONOR Magic8 Series comes in Sunrise Gold, Sky Cyan, Black, and Glacier White.
Pre-orders in China start October 15, 2025, with the Magic8 priced from RMB 4,499 and the Magic8 Pro from RMB 5,699.
