Noble Audio has officially introduced the FoKus Amadeus, the latest entry in its FoKus true wireless earphone line. Drawing inspiration from the youthful genius of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the Amadeus is more than just a name. It’s a celebration of classical refinement brought into the age of personal audio. With its bold crimson red finish, the FoKus Amadeus doesn’t just make a visual statement; it carries a symbolic tribute to Mozart’s iconic red tailcoat, a fixture in many classical portraits. But more than aesthetic, it’s the engineering behind the earbuds that captures the spirit of musical mastery that Noble set out to honour.
At the core of the FoKus Amadeus is a newly developed 8.3mm custom dynamic driver with a triple-layer diaphragm, specifically tuned to deliver a highly musical listening experience. This configuration brings deep, responsive bass, open and articulate midrange, and smoothly extended highs; a tuning that’s expressive without being clinical, energetic yet controlled. According to Noble, the goal was to create an earphone that doesn’t just play music, but invites you into it, whether you’re immersed in the full force of an orchestra or the intimacy of a solo acoustic set. The FoKus Amadeus shines across genres, excelling in both critical listening and everyday enjoyment, thanks to its balanced sound signature that maintains clarity and warmth.
One standout feature making its return from the widely praised FoKus Rex5 is Audiodo Personal Sound. This intelligent hearing calibration system analyses each ear independently to build a customised EQ profile. Once created, the profile is stored directly on the earbuds themselves, meaning users don’t need to rely on a companion app to enjoy personalised audio. For listeners with slight asymmetries in hearing, the difference can be dramatic: subtle background instruments come alive, vocals become clearer, and the overall sound feels more tailored and natural. It’s a particularly welcome addition for users who want high fidelity without the hassle of manual tweaking.
On the connectivity front, the FoKus Amadeus is equipped with Qualcomm’s QCC3091 chipset and supports the latest Bluetooth 5.4 standard, ensuring reliable connections, low-latency performance, and high-resolution playback. Codec support includes SBC, AAC, aptX Adaptive, and LDAC, covering a wide range of source devices and usage scenarios, whether you’re streaming high-bitrate tracks or catching up on video content. Day-to-day functionality is also robust: multi-point Bluetooth pairing allows you to stay connected to two devices at once, while TrueWireless Mirroring ensures stable performance when using only one earbud at a time.
In terms of control and communication, the FoKus Amadeus includes touch-sensitive controls for playback and calls, and dual microphones with cVc noise cancellation for clear voice pickup in noisy environments. The FoKus Amadeus is perfect for work meetings or phone calls on the go. The inclusion of both Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Transparency Mode gives users the flexibility to block out external distractions or tune into their surroundings when needed, with just a tap.
Battery life is another strong point for the FoKus Amadeus. On a single charge, users can expect up to 12 hours of playback with ANC off, or 8 hours with ANC on. The compact charging case adds 2.5 charges, bringing the total playback time to approximately 42 hours. It supports quick charging as well, just 10 minutes in the case provides 2 hours of listening, ideal for those moments when you’re in a rush. Full charging time for the earbuds is around 90 minutes, and about 2 hours for the case.
From a design and usability standpoint, the FoKus Amadeus fits comfortably in the ear for long sessions, thanks to its ergonomic shell and lightweight build. The Noble Focus Amadeus will be available starting June 18, 2025, for SGD 499 at authorised retailers including AV One, Stereo Electronics, Treoo, and TK Foto.
