SHARP has expanded its home appliance lineup with the launch of the new Pro-Flex Front Load Washer Dryer Combo, a space-saving 3-in-1 laundry solution designed for modern households. Combining washing, drying and an innovative Dry Airwash function powered by SHARP’s proprietary Plasmacluster Ion technology, the new appliance aims to simplify garment care while addressing the needs of increasingly compact living spaces.
Available in two configurations – a 12.5kg wash/8kg dry model and a 10.5kg wash/7kg dry model – the Pro-Flex Combo is built to deliver greater convenience without sacrificing performance. The appliance features a slimmer external footprint while offering a larger drum capacity, making it particularly suitable for HDB flats, condominiums and homes where every centimetre of space matters.
One of the standout features of the new Pro-Flex range is its Dry Airwash function, which uses SHARP’s patented Plasmacluster Ion technology to refresh garments without water. By releasing positive and negative ions, the system helps neutralise odours and reduce bacteria, making it ideal for lightly worn clothing that may not require a full wash cycle. The feature is particularly useful for delicate items such as suits, structured outerwear and fabrics that may be prone to shrinking or losing shape during conventional washing. Users can select refresh cycles lasting five, ten or thirty minutes, depending on their needs.
Beyond refreshing clothes, the same Plasmacluster Ion technology also helps maintain drum hygiene by reducing residual moisture, odours and bacterial build-up between wash cycles. This contributes to a cleaner laundry environment and reduces maintenance over time.
For households seeking deeper cleaning performance, SHARP has equipped the Pro-Flex Combo with a Steam Care Hygiene Mode. The steam-powered function penetrates fabric fibres to help remove stubborn dirt while eliminating up to 99.9 per cent of allergens and germs. The feature is particularly beneficial for families with young children, allergy sufferers or those seeking enhanced hygiene for everyday laundry.
The washer-dryer combo also comes with 15 preset washing programmes, offering tailored settings for different fabric types and laundry requirements. A colour-coded control panel has been designed to simplify operation, allowing users to quickly identify wash cycles, temperature settings and fabric care options at a glance.
Under the hood, the Pro-Flex Combo is powered by a Direct Drive (DD) Inverter motor that connects directly to the drum, eliminating the need for traditional belts or pulleys. This design reduces vibration and operating noise while improving efficiency and lowering long-term maintenance requirements. The quieter operation makes it suitable for open-plan homes and overnight laundry cycles.
Additional features such as Child Lock and Auto Restart provide added peace of mind and reliability for daily use. Both models also carry a 4-tick WELS water efficiency rating, supporting more sustainable household operations.
The SHARP Pro-Flex Front Load Washer Dryer Combo is available in a Dark Grey finish. The 10.5kg wash/7kg dry model (ES-FW10D7PAS) is priced at S$1,488, while the larger 12.5kg wash/8kg dry model (ES-FW12D8PAS) retails at S$1,861.
Both models are available through SHARP Singapore’s online channels as well as selected retailers, including Audio House, Best Denki, COURTS, Gain City and Harvey Norman.
